Our room was perfect. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was fine, shower curtain wouldn’t stop blowing in and sticking to me, but it was fine. The breakfast was fantastic and Dee was delightful. We would absolutely stay again.

Clean throughout, our bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. Only con was we are early risers and breakfast is at 9. Way to late in the morning for us.

Four Mounds is an historically significant residence that was built in the very early 1900s. It is in a relatively remote and very beautiful rural forest setting with a broad view of the Mississippi river north of Dubuque. The breakfast I had was perfect and cooked for me and served at the dining room table. I came for just one night, but I very much want to return with my family. I strongly recommend Four Mounds.

The property is out of this world beautiful overlooking the Mississippi. The white house where we stayed maintained its character of a bygone era, yet had the amenities we desire today. Breakfast at the Grey house was delicious & gave us an opportunity to tour it also. Staff was friendly and filled us in on the historical details. A real Gem and Dubuque should be proud!

The B&B is clean and comfortable. We have gone to several B&Bs and have been greeted by the owners. We had no interaction during our stay with owners or employees. This was a real downer for us. Our internet was zero. We went to breakfast at the grey house and internet was awesome! They need to get this in the White House. However, the breakfast was homemade, fresh, and tasty!

The Four Mounds Inn is a wonderful place. Very secluded and quiet, but with all the amenities you need. The staff were very nice and attentive. I would recommend this place to my friends for a getaway to a beautiful location and secluded gem.

This is an quaint, unique but really nice Inn. Chianne was a terrific hostess, aim to please and friendly. Beautiful flowers, trees, wild turkeys and deer surround the retreat. If the opportunity arises we would stay again.

4 Mounds is a beautiful location with acres of trees and native plants. The birds at the feeders were beautiful. There were so many different bird calls I'd never heard before. The B&B is beautifully historic and located very near to Mississippi River. I'll definately be back!

The overall experience was great, beautiful room and location, previsit phone call explaining check in process, parking, etc. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only glitch was uncertainty with morning coffee and breakfast and in the end we just didn't have time to wait, so i would have just asked about this beforehand so we'd know.
