The entrance to the donna lucrezia is a little off putting, as it is an old building, and the elevator which is limited to 3 people (but great once you understand it) confirms the age. However, Nelson was there to greet us and escort us in. The building is secure. Hotel and rooms are perfectly clean. It is very quiet. Service is perfect. Good location, excellent restaurants within half a block. ATM close by. We love it.

From the moment we arrived,Nelson was so helpful. He explained how the parking works, recommended great restaurants, and area of interest. Breakfast option were terrific. Would definitely recommend the hotel to my friends and family when they travel to Rome.

The staff are amazing, and the breakfast and snacks are great! The breakfast has plenty of options and the staff will bring you lattes. There seemed to be coffee and tea available all day with snacks out at all times. I cannot express enough how wonderful the staff are. Very helpful! Including the info to walk up to a local cab station to catch a cab as otherwise you will be charged more (for their drive to the hotel). The bathrooms are spacious, and the rooms were clean. This hotel is in a building that also has private housing, so make sure you shut the entrance doors to the building and close your curtains if you have windows that look into the private homes. If you use a washcloth, you will need to bring your own. This is common in part of Europe, so it's smart to bring your own washcloth. There are several dining options in the area, we really enjoyed San Marco. It isn't the closest for walking to everything you may want to see/experience, but the short distance to the taxi station is very helpful for getting around. I have some mobility issues and was grateful to be within a few blocks of the taxi station. I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful staff and helpful and friendly and amazing breakfast.

What a beautiful place! I loved my room – I was mostly in Rome to walk around for 3 days and the location of the Relais was perfect to explore many different parts of the city on foot – it was hot the last week of August so I returned a couple of times a day for a little break in my cool room before setting off again. Nelson (the host with the most) is a wonderful person, very helpful and really goes above & beyond, you can tell he loves his work. I would come back here in a heartbeat on my next trip to Rome.

The hotel was excellent! Nice clean room and the service was great. Nelson did a wonderful job at organizing the airport transfer for my mom. The breakfast was also superb and a big plus. Highly recommend.

What was great: Location, quiet area, and especially Rebecca, who checked us in, and also served us breakfast the next morning. She was sweet, helpful and such a great cook! What was not great: Room and bathroom cleanliness. Room was dated with unkempt furniture that had stains. Bathroom was very dusty, shower door was not clean, and shower had signs of disrepair. Disappointing for a Relais branded hotel.

Wonderful staff. More of a boutique hotel, with loads of character. Quiet, quiet airconditioner, great shower, great breakfast. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The only negative was a creaky wooden floor.

I would stay again so beautiful place well kept

This hotel was the best. My family and I recommend it highly. As a family of four we were able to have a suite with four beds. A king and two twins. The bathroom was large and beautiful. The breakfast was excellent as well. The staff was so kind and helpful. I look forward to staying there again.

Lovely small hotel. The staff is lovely but just note that they are only there is the morning. If you need a fully staffed front desk, this might not be for you.

Beautiful, immaculate hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by Nelson, who personally saw that every detail of our stay was perfect. From helping with our luggage to serving our delicious breakfast to recommending fine neighborhood restaurants to arranging a taxi the airport, he took care of everything. The home cooked breakfast buffet was amazing with fresh pastries and hearty hot entrees. Housekeeping service was impeccable. And the ambience of this historic beautiful palazzo was breathtaking. We truly hope to be fortunate enough to return someday. Thank you, Nelson.

Relais Donna Lucrezia was an amazing property! The hotel has wonderful charm and character- an amazing touch was homemade cookies and biscuits available anytime. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful and recommended nearby restaurants and even arranged transportation to the airport for us. We will absolutely stay at Relais Donna Lucrezia the next time we are in Rome! Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

Difficult to get to and to get a taxi.

It was a beautiful hotel with many personal touches. Nelson in particular was incredibly warm and informative, and he made our stay very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent!!!

Nelson welcomed us and, from beginning to end, was a gentle and gracious host who served as concierge, chef, and manager. Owner Lucrezia and her hubby were present on the property. The room was spotless and comfortable. The decor and ambiance were minimal but elegant. The location was central to a variety of stores and restaurants; and there is a small store at the corner that sold water and snacks to take back to your room or along to your destination. We walked to and from the colosseum within 30-40 minutes. The Metro stations are a 10-15 min. walk away. Delicious Breakfast and dessert buffet await you. Quiet side street and strong AC to help relieve from the Roman Heat! If you bring a car, you won’t be able to find a spot in front of hotel. Inquire about parking venues. Overall stay was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast each morning was delicious. The room was clean and a cool break from the hot days.

Nelson is a great host, the whole stay was honestly very welcoming and felt very comfortable. Breakfast was very good as well! Location was perfect as well, easy to find street parking around.

It was a nice place to stay. Wish the staff was friendly but they made it feel very transactional. Also, charged for a bottle of wine that was given to me as complimentary per the room reservation made.
