Great place for a clean quiet overnight

You are a pet friendly hotel. We brought our dog we checked in and left we weren’t even out of our room for 3 minutes when an employee called and said our dog was barking non stop literally 3 minutes. Our dog does not normally bark so someone must have been close to our door. We turned around and came back and I stood by my door and she was not barking. Dogs bark sometimes and if your pet friendly people that stay there should understand that.

Everything was clean and well taken care of. We arrived late and even still the process for checking in was fast and easy. Only downfall, the breakfast is expensive and not anything better than your standard continental breakfast. Not worth it! But lots of things were close by to choose from.

We made an overnight stop in Salina on our way to Black Hills National Forest from Texas. We booked the room a couple of hours before pulling into Salina. We had our two small dogs with us, so we were looking for a place that was pet friendly and didn’t charge an enormous pet fee. Hilton Garden Inn was perfect for our stop. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, the lobby was immaculate and the room was spacious and comfortable.
