Great little spot, very clean and just 20 minutes from downtown Portsmouth.

Hotel was listed with a charger for EVs, but were told later that the hotels charfrrs had been removed as Tesla superchargers were installed on the adjacent lot. Consequently had to cancel second night to get charged. Hotel refused refund. Hotrl had anove aversge rooms and breakfast with nice facilities and location

Amazing hotel, we stayed for 3 nights and loved it. Close to downtown, lots of amazing restaurants near by. Quiet area and nice staffs. Would come back again.

This place is cute and clean. Super easy access to the highway. There’s a Dunkin’ Donuts and a CVS that share the lot so that was convenient. The staff is super nice and friendly. Free breakfast is pretty decent too!

Only problem is the pool opened up at 9 AM. Originally it says on the placard 7 AM so we lost time and checkout at 11.

Hotel was very nice. Large clean rooms. Very comfortable bed. Air conditioner worked great. Not all hotels Ac's do or you can't get room cool enough. Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs and fresh continental breakfast items. My only complaint was we had a do not disturb sign up till noon. I guess the maid already came by and never circled back. So the room wasn't cleaned. Not a big deal as far as towels. But I did need more coffee that i borrowed from my sisters room

Second time staying here. I have been happy both times. People working the front desk are very kind and accomodating. Today my car broke down and they have been lovely and understanding.

once we arrived the nognt clerk was amazing , but the morning staf was really bas , not friendly at all screaming at the clients because always outside not taking care of us , the only great staf on hand was the cleaning lady , she sould be at the frond desk and those other bad worker should do the cleaning

The most memorable part of the one-night stay was the breakfast area. It was neat and clean and opened out onto a pleasant grassy area where people can dine and relax - a fenced family-friendly area. It is a small detail but one that stands out

Just outside Dover and access to downtown easy. Beautiful grounds.
We arrived early for check-in and were met with a very welcoming young lady at reception who made great adjustments for us. Whole attitude here was one of friendly helpfulness. Breakfast (mostly pre-packaged but very tasty) included pancakes that provided guests an enjoyable learning experience for all in the lobby!

The Garrison is a great hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. Room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was excellent! Coffee and tea was available all day and popcorn in the afternoon. It is definitely a repeat.

Hotel was okay. Common areas were generally clean. The kids enjoyed the pool and outdoor fire pit. However, our room had a very strong musty odor coming from the A/C unit which was not present in other areas of the hotel.

The staff were super pleasant and the bathroom in my room was recently remodeled so it was great. The lobby and amenities offered there were really unique (popcorn, shared computer, shop). The room had a funky smell and could use an update, but I would absolutely stay there again. It was very clean and the proximity to a CVS was a strong plus.

Nice staff, with a couple of folks really standing out in that area. Lack of secure wi-fi was a problem. Convenient location to Portsmouth and rest of seacoast.
Room was fine but hard to find lighting for kitchenette area. I did not use amenities, but my partner said gym was smaller than it appeared from photos. Really liked the one hour delayed checkout without fee, and staff was friendly about this.... There was no air conditioning in the lobby and breakfast area during our stay. This was a real problem (!!!) as it was a spell of warm, humid weather. So, breakfast felt uncomfortable.... No rubber bath mats for shower -- safety issue -- and apparently the hotel does not carry them, as staff said put a towel down instead.... Also, room a.c. was hard to control -- either too cold or quickly hot again. Controls worked fine, so I don't really know why getting to "steady state" was a problem, but it was.... Overall, it was a solid experience at a moderate price.

The Garrison was amazing. They were so welcoming. When we arrived and they found out we were traveling with our Corgi the lady at the front desk gave us a little treat bag with a water dish and some milk bones. It was so thoughtful. Unlike other hotels, there were no strict rules for having the dog. We were able to leave him in his kennel in the room and go do some shopping. The hotel was very clean, great spots to hang out inside and out.
