Pros: Nice beach with snorkeling ability Cons: Lacks entertainment, service delays (there were only two other people in the restaurant and took almost an hour to get our food) and good luck with ordering room service (takes 2 hours), room was cleaned once during our stay which left us with no towels, towel shortages, not enough beach umbrellas, and food quality is not the greatest for the high prices charged.

Yes, we were really dissapointed in the food this time around, the only thing good was Breakfast, the Main indoor eating area was only open every other night, they must have a new chef with different thoughts than ours on what choices there was to pick from.

The property was beautiful. Needed to change the menu up a bit, but overall food was good though. Facility was clean.

Hotel looks big but is not .. perfect place if you want a kind of quiet hotel… service is super good with small private beach but enough and nice.. all people at the front desk are very friendly and helpful.. very clean .. service at the restaurants are unique, everyone friendly, best Omelettes are made by Cinthia and Diana is the best at the restaurant close to the beach.. if you want a good service in the pool area and the beach Alexander and Vicky are THE BEST !! I wish the pools stay available longer.. Fully recommended hotel

The Westin is a nice property and most of the staff are amazing. What isn’t amazing is the menu, it never changes. They have you eat inside one night and the next night the outside restaurant, however the menu doesn’t change at either location. When you stay for 10 days that’s a big issue. One of our friends was extremely ill after eating one night. They also have a checkout time of 11am and will not let you stay to eat lunch without paying $$. We have been coming to Cozumel for 20 years and have never had that happen. The snorkeling is great but I can snorkel by and stay somewhere else.

We really loved our stay. The staff were very nice and always spoke when they saw you. The rooms and grounds were very clean.

We’ve stayed here before and they set the benchmark for all inclusive’s! This time was even better!! Best waitstaff and staff of anywhere we’ve stayed which covers 20 Caribbean all inclusive’s. The food is over the top, the staff is second to none, the snorkeling is the best, and the property is amazing!

It was nice.

The Westin is always our top choice in Cozumel. Quiet with an excellent spot for snorkeling right from the beach area. Staff is always super friendly. During the hurricane they made sure everyone was safe. Maybe a little early on making people move to a central spot but they did their best. Suggestions if that happened again would be to have some fans for airflow and noise to block the sound of some people snoring. The only thing that would make this hotel perfect would be a pickleball or tennis court. We look forward to more stays with them.

Staff is great! Special this two ladies, Wendy and Diana their service on different areas of the hotel are spectacular.

Great place to stay

I enjoyed staying here. The beach was just right downstairs. Made it easy and convenient. It was never crowded. They had a hut set up at the beach for you to easily book excursions and other activities. Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. My only two complaints would be the cleanliness of the room and the fact you can literally hear into the room beside you.

This is a beautiful property with very accomidating staff. Everyone made sure our stay was great. The two issues we encountered were promptly tended to by staff and they rectified The Situation's immediately. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely what we needed, didn’t hardly leave the resort for the 5 nights we were there, and there was no need to. Westin staff are terrific, and the facilities were just what we were looking for, relaxing and easy to access. Fit our priorities perfectly. I had a great time jumping into the ocean from the dock. Snorkeling wasn’t the most glamorous, but there were fish aplenty and that wasn’t the reason for our stay, anyway. The A/C in the room (7th floor) worked like a charm and we enjoyed our balcony periodically, especially morning or around sunset, as it got plenty hot during the majority of the day. As a runner, I got out and went up and down the main road and I was pleased that others were out in like kind in the mornings every time, no safety concerns. The resort is beautiful, highlights are the rooftop pool, the waterfall shower in the room, the views from just about anywhere on the property at sunset, and the restaurants’ outdoor dining. We’re not much for room service or super swanky amenities, so can’t comment on anything to do with that, but the room was well-appointed, the housekeeping was great, and with the all-inclusive program (we had the blue wristband, lower tier), they’re always happy to replenish the in-room drink fridge, bottled water, etc. That all-inclusive option is WELL worth it, even if only going to eat at Cuzamil twice, for instance, during a stay. We had five nights and totally took advantage of the meals with our wristbands again and again.

The entire staff from reception to the restaurants were professional, friendly and attentive. The chiefs were highly trained and produced delicious gluten-free food, desserts and breads. Thank you to all the staff.

An amazing vacation at the Westin Cozumel . This was my second stay and will be going back very soon. Front desk- amazing Vicky at the beach - Amazing Restaurants -Great food and amazing service Room and view - Spectacular Carlos the manager was incredibly gracious and welcoming and so was Lorenzo in house keeping. Thank you for a great vacation , one of the best Marriott properties I have stayed at (I am a Titanium member and have stayed in way too many around the world).

Wonderful stay at the Westin Cozumel! Clean, very comfortable beds, gorgeous views from the room. The staff was amazing and always accomodating. Food at resort was very good! Would definitely stay there again!

Staff was friendly and helpful

Property was great. Beach area is small but adequate for the number of guests during our stay. Front Desk and Service staff did a great job. Some of our neighbors were quite loud and we could hear everything from next doo to the floor above us. All inclusive plan was easy to utilize.

We’ve been coming to the Westin every year and continue to enjoy our stay. It’s one of the nicest properties in Cozumel. It does have its share of opportunities because it is getting older and with the property on the water, it becomes harder to maintain. Overall though, the staff has continued to treat us very well. Huge thanks to Carlos the manager and Carlos the who served us at the pool. Looking forwards to coming back again next year.

They booked us and charged us for a extra day We had to pay for everything when we had all inclusive The room was wrong.

Everything seem pretty normal at first. We had no issues at check in, the room was ready and it seem pretty clean. After the first night we were there, I received an email from management where they told me they were going to charge $36 dollars for cleaning a pair of old and worn used towels because they had woman make up that” cannot be removed” by traditional methods. I complained to the manager but he insisted those were hotel policies and cannot do anything about it eventhough we never got to see these towels or a sign that says not to remove make up with it. After 4 days in the room I saw black dots on the shower roof and noticed that it was BLACK MOLD. I showed this to the manager and asked him how come I got a room with mold on it and he said nobody had told him about it. When mold dots are coming through the paint that only means that the wall(s) are full of it behind and is now started Ng to come through. I think this hotel has. MOLD problem and they have just paint over it. Now my son and daughter is suffering from headaches and scratchy throats. The manager did offer to switch us to another room but what would be the difference, every room would have the same issue. No credit or reduce price was offered at all. The manager just stuck to the hotel policies. Eventhough the rooms looked pretty clean, the problem Is inside the walls. The only way to get rid of MOLD is by removing all the shower surfaces and that’s major remodel. At $ 250/ night it is not worth it
