Im happy with my stay at parkland motel the staff was freindly and helpful. rooms are clean comfortable close to the city and utas stadium that why i was in launceston for football thank you

No wonder the rooms are non refundable. I've stayed better hostels than this place.
Sheets were dirty and had bed bugs bathroom and room was very run down. On the website it says thet offer airport transfers they don't it also says free wifi it doesn't work. Its also a fair walk from anything good. They say to call or text the after hours number if you need anything but no one responses if they do its the day after. Reception is only open until 6pm and not on a Sunday. Honestly after the first night if i could have afforded to i would have moved to a different hotel. I brought up the dirty bed with them and asked for the room to be cleaned and new sheets they just made the bed. Same sheets and all.

The owners were very nice....but the room was old, bed very uncomfortable. I even considered sleeping on floor. The water faucets were not working properly. When I checked out, I didn't have the space to leave without scraping my rental vehicle. Thank goodness I bought rental insurance. It's basically a motorcycle parking lot. There was a microwave and fridge in room. WIFI was in and out.

Motel should be condemned. Shower over bath, dirty and slippery, dangerous stairs, lack of car parking, toilet would not flush properly and NO air conditioning !!!!

Hotel room is old with WC flush being a red button on the wall. Bath room filled with spider and webs. No aircon. Next to the road and is very noisy. Warbrobe is dirty and bathroom floor is dirty. Tap need to adjust between hot and cold water. Highly not recommended for anyone to stay.

Room condition is good. The only problem is shower and toilet was flooded with water after shower and there is no way to drain the water which makes the bathroom really mess.

The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the hot water system was good.
The wifi left a lot to be desired continuously dropping in and out.
An ironing board in the rooms would be beneficial, especially given the limited reception hours.
It would be helpful if there was a chargeback with local eateries given that there is no onsite restaurant.

Good central location with comfortable warm bed and heating. Cosmetically, property very dated and somewhat tired. Overall good value for money for a CBD location.

Clean and comfortable room with no bells and whistles, but that was fine, it's a budget motel. TV reception was a bit dodgy. Most happy with the staff, who let us have a late checkout due to an event that ran all morning!

The motel is ok. Very close to the city, shops, cafes and sights of the city. Nice and white linen, good looking bath towels. The building and premises are in need of budgetary and modern repairs. Parking area is difficult for cars to park, you need to be a professional driver so as not to ram other cars in the parking.

Nice location right at the edge of the park. The property is nothing flash and obviously facilities and decor are a bit dated. But i booked this place because i was looking for comfortable, budget accommodation for a family of 5 and this is exactly what it is. For the price, i was more than happy. I thought the lady at the desk who checked us in was friendly and welcoming and the check in process was simple and efficient.

This property was in an awesome location and the staff were great. I would give the accommodation a 2 star rating because the bed was like sleeping on a piece of cardboard on a pallet..
Both my partner and I woke up, cranky due to the lack of sleep from the bed ... if you like an extra firm bed then this is the place for you, I personally would prefer a medium.

I wouldn’t stay again . They told me they upgraded us to a 2 bedroom apartment. 1 bedroom you couldn’t sleep on the bed it was so hard they other room was bearable. The kitchen stove lights didn’t work and dirty . The heater in the bathroom didn’t work . It’s very old and needs lots of work on it.

After booking 3 weeks in advance and receiving confirmation then as loading car to depart receive a cancelation of our booking at the last minute!!! No other accommodation available and no refund on our theatre tickets. Total disaster and $150 out of pocket. To top it off, our friends joining us for the weekend decided to double check their booking to be told , (double booked, your accomodation has been cancelled). Never again! Will be blacklisting this business far and wide.

Helpful staff. Nice convenient position opposite lovely park. Very adequate for our needs at a very reasonable price. Exterior a bit shabby and could be cleaned up. Parking very easy.
