Nobody greeted me at the locked gate. Nobody answered the intercom. I had to jump over the gate to get in, as there were no other options in. 9:30pm to arrive isn't crazy late. Also the pillows were rock hard. I'm sure if I came by during the middle of the day it would be fine, but don't book for a last minute airport layover.

Very clean, well maintained and comfortable hotel. Booking was easy and quick. Parking was free with my booking, lovely grounds to walk around.

Wonderful, peaceful place to stay. Absolutely beautiful setting. If you love nature and peace and quiet, it’s the place to stay and very close to Gatwick Airport

We had a very enjoyable stay. Only thing we weren't given the gate code to enter. The cleaner was helpful in rectifying this. Overall 4/5 thanks for looking after us.

Business overnight stay. Property provided all I needed. Good location. Very good. I never had any interaction with any staff so can’t comment on that aspect. Recommend..

It was uncertain how to check in. The Uber left us at the closed entrance, we had to call. Then a huge fly was in our room, and a spider near the tv cabinet.

The property is situated in a pretty green country road. The room was ok but the bed most uncomfortable and the walls paper thin - we could hear every step or noise that the people on top did and every car that crunched into the cobbled carpark.

Hotel room was dirty when we arrived with stains on the table. The location is pretty inaccessible from the airport without a car. The housekeeper had a room available for early check in but only allowed us to check in for an extra £30, there was no policy regarding this in place. Housekeeper was very unfriendly.

Bed had bed bugs no service what so ever overall terrible experience

Great location for a night before a flight from Gatwick and walking distance to a great pub for dinner. Repeat visitor. Self check-in and out is great too, no hassle and self-explanatory. The Black Horse is a bustling pub with good food and service nearby and within walking distance. My only gripe would be that our shower room needed a deep clean as it smelt of urine.

Ok but could use a lift

Well located property for the airport. Friendly staff. Nice house in lovely grounds.

Super grounds and security.

Overall good. Grounds were gorgeous. Sadly, we weren’t given the gate code before arrival. We weren’t aware we needed one until we got there. Couldn’t find someone to help us until the next day so we were stranded at the hotel. Not enough options to hang clothes, only 3 hooks. Hand held mirror was dirty. A door knob was missing from bathroom door. Hot water was hard to get. The rocks in the parking lot made for a lot of noise of cars in & out.

Ideal location with Black Horse as restaurant close by

Our room was very large with a double bed, several chest of drawers, double settee, single armchair, large tv, clothes hanging rail, and large bathroom. Parking was a bit of a problem as there were few spaces. Our room key was in an envelope in the front porch so there was no contact with any staff. The grounds are lovely and there is a good pub only a few minutes walk up the road. Car parking for Gatwick can be arranged for this site.

The property is beautiful Picked up and dropped off at airport by shuttle Our room was large amd had everything we needed for our stay. Would have liked a few more days to explore

I arrived very late but got into my room ok. I didn't appreciate the mouthy taxi driver who was shouting because i was going the wring way to get out. Nor the other fuy who stoppee me!!!

Very comfortable room for our overnight stay and very convenient for Gatwick. There was a nice pub a couple of minutes walk away. Lovely setting and would stay here again.

Beautiful building. Behind locked automatic gates. Rooms very good size .. amazing height in the bathroom, lovely toiletries. Stayed overnight for early flight in the morning. Very comfortable bed. Room was too warm, thank you for the ability to open windows! .. we had them open all night and there was hardly any sound from outside, couldn't hear any planes. Noise came from the fridge turning on and off (next time will unplug it but we had items in there) and next door using the switches and plugs a lot on the adjoining wall. However, I am a light sleeper and my partner slept through. I would stay there again. Delicious meal at The Black Horse around the corner.

This was one night stay in preparation for an early Gatwick flight the next morning and was ideal. Room had ensuite shower and bed was very comfortable. We'd certainly be happy to stay here again and very convenient for our drive to Gatwick parking. However the hotel does offer parking facilities - wish I'd realised before but will consider this for another Gatwick flight.

Close to Gatwick, lovely room with good facilities. Sound proofing between rooms not to good.

What a great find for an overnight stay when flying early from Gatwick. The room was spotless and so convenient to the airport and eateries.
