Inn-keeper Jim was a fantastic host. Friendly and helpful with the kids. The room was exactly as described. It could have done with darker curtains (as in to keep out the morning light). The shower was grand, took a moment to get it to work as expected but we got there.

We were welcomed by the owner very politely and made us feel instantly at home. The room was very nicely set up and had access to a TV, our own sink, a fan due to warm weather, a lovely little tea station with complementary tea and coffee; everything was very clean and nicely displayed. The bathroom was lovely and clean also with plenty of hand soap and toilet rolls supplied. This place is walking distance from Margate beach and all the surrounding hotspots. We also had the option for breakfast and the communal dining area was lovely and also well kept. Would highly recommend this place, very good value for money.

We were a party of 3 we checked into the hotel, and had a conversation with Jim the owner about where we were going in the evening and about what other night life was in the area.
The rooms and facilities were great we were close to the local shops and central Margate was in close walking distance.
The beds were comfortable so we had a great night sleep and we had a fantastic full English Breakfast In the morning.
It is a fantastic Guest House and we would definitely come back again and recommend the hotel to others.

Lovely breakfasts, great location, comfortable and clean. Late night if anyone is being loud in the hallways it is very audible, but if other guests are respectful there is no problem.

Decided to go to Margate for a couple of days for a Birthday treat. Jim the owner was very welcoming and looked after us. He has great local knowledge too. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the main beach and dreamland but there is a lovely beach 1 mins walk away.

He gave us a lot of tips and other infos that are quite helpful of getting to where we are going or the dos and don’ts re dog on the beach etc. The accomodation looks immaculate. We had the room that has the seaview which is just amazing! Slept like a log as the bed is really comfortable. Parking is just in front of the house otherwise you can park on the street. You can walk from the house to the Westbrook bay beach about 2 minutes away which is really good or you can walk from the house to margate main sands 7-10 minutes and a lot to see. Overall this accomodation is highly recommended.

Jim was absolutely lovely and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. He made a great breakfast and the whole experience was excellent and extremely pleasant. I will definitely return and highly recommend to other travellers.
