Clean, welcoming, good vibes, pkeanty of information, nice kitchen with complementary coffee, clever decorations, safe, outside patio is nice. For the money paid, it is a really cool place. Thank you for your hospitality!

The staff was very unprofessional we could not get into hotel once we walked outside of the building, couldn’t get anyone to help her to sleep in my car

Was nice and clean. Got a room with a twin bunk bed - very comfortable. The place is situated well next to many things.

Wanderatay is well located for walking to the museums and there are a few decent local food and drink places but it is also very close to the freeway and has no A/C, which can make for a difficult night's sleep. Noting that free earbuds are provided.

Clean and quiet, I chose $10 parking for safe, tho. Don’t remember why but laundry room is locked….
Upstairs come with free coffee and tea, also a refrig and microwave. Love it

1. They do not have a lock for the locker. Bring it yourself.
2. When I stayed, the room was too cold on the first night and too hot on the second night. You are not allowed to change the setting. Good luck!

The area seems a little sketchy, but the hostel was great! We had a family feud trivia night that was a lot of fun and bright everyone together :)
Everyone there was super cool and the woman’s dorm was really comfortable.
Super helpful to have 2 showers in there!

I booked a private room with one twin bed and really enjoyed my stay. Great amenities, clean facilities, comfortable. Price was very affordable.

The hostel in at central area ,convenient for food and some activities. However, there are only 2 bathrooms for the entire hostel, toilet paper was not provided enough for a day. There are cameras everywhere, so feel like being always watched.

The area is fine with some really nice places nearby to eat. Hostel is what you expect. Customer service is exceptionally poor, issues have been raised to management so will not post here, I am sure they will eventually bother respond to my email (highly unlikely though)

Excellent place. Super duper clean, large beds, in a very uber able/walk able area. I really enjoyed my stay here. It was very cozy and quaint and the price per night was a steal!

The hostel experience here far outweighed my other hostel experiences! No in-person contact, FULL size beds, great kitchen!

I was disappointed that my room had no furniture, the curtain let all the light from the streetlights in, next to the freeway with no sound proofing. Got up in the night to use the bathroom and the side door was propped open. Did not feel safe in that area. Wouldn't recommend ths place to anyone. Bed was not comfortable and small. Common areas furniture was really dirty, no where to get a drink of water other then the bathroom.

I am very unhappy they did not allow me to check in after hours. They had a sign saying to call a number to check in no one answered. I had to drive back home in the middle of the night because I could not stay they did not even open the door.

Great price and friendly staff, and there’s a cafe around for quick breakfast. just remember to bring your own toiletries (shampoo etc)

Good place to stay, it is clean and comfortable. The beds are great. Only the customer service was not the best, on the day of departure, we wanted to leave our bags for a couple of hours until our flight and rent a lock, but the reception was deserted. Other guests also needed to speak to someone at the reception for different issues, but no one came all morning. We decided to go with our bags when we saw that no one was going to arrive. It seems to me that a place of lodging must have someone at the reception if not 24 hours, at least from very early.

car was broken into window busted along with 2 cars parked behind me who were also guests here.....and previous stay here my car was parked in front of Wanderstay and the petty parking police ticketed me for being parked RIGHT IN FRONT supposedly too close to stop sign at the corner...

Good room and house. Easy access to public transit. Only complaint is room only has one outlet at the opposite end of room from where the bed is. Ended up buying an extension cord so phone could be plugged in and used as alarm clock.

It was a great stay, would book again for the future. We mainly go to Houston for an Astros game, and this place was about 10 minutes from the stadium and many restraints. We felt safe because of the locks around the house, also it was very clean.

Hostel was very clean would definitely stay again. walking distance to the turkeyleg hut and bar 5015. If you looking for vegan options grapeseed and vegan soufood are options that are close by.. Public transportation is also walking distance from the hostel.

Imagine reserving a sweet Air B&B. You’ve got the gate and door codes. You enter the premises. It looks just like the photos. But there are other people there. This is the business model of Wanderstay.Ultimately, I couldn’t stay here. Multiple attempts to reach someone about the gated parking were ignored. Because I’m in a rental car that I am responsible for any damages it may incur, I had to find a hotel. Needless to say, the service is non-existent, the neighborhood is sketchy and the business model has some real liability issues.
