I believe they remodel the hotel, everything is pretty fresh. Wonderful location right next to kyoto station. Like the interior design, simple but with smart space design. I basically check in n out myself. Not much to tell about the staffs.

Close to Kyoto station Shinkansen exit. Seven eleven in the same building as the hotel. Hotel breakfast was terrific with lots of Kyoto specialities to choose from, as well as Western breakfast food. Room was very clean. Very convenient for traveling around the city as we could hop on several busses or the subway at the station.

It was an amazing stay in Kyoto at this hotel. Great value for the money as this hotel is located just a couple of blocks from the Kyoto Station and easily accessible. The rooms are very large and comfortable and provided with all required amenities. I would most definitely return there and recommend to everyone.

The room was very comfortable, compact and well designed. The table was high enough to eat from, very convenient. So close to the station and bus stop so getting around was fast and easy. Added bonus of having a 7-11 downstairs. Superb location!

This hotel is so conveniently located near Kyoto Station. Checkin and checkout was fast and automated. The hotel breakfast was one of the best we have had on this trip. The shower and bathtub was spacious and luxurious. Fantastic hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days (as part of our 3-week trip to Japan). Check-in was fast and easy and the associates at the front desk were friendly and polite. We do not speak Japanese, but this was not an issue. The hotel is within walking distance to Kyoto station, convenience stores, restaurants and shops, which was very convenient. The hotel lobby was beautiful, but the room itself was incredibly small (even smaller than the hotels we stayed at in Tokyo) and was not in the best condition (musty smell in room/hallways, a layer of dust on the carpet under the bed which I assume had never been vacuumed because of the low height of the bed, scratches/stains on the walls, etc.). Our hotel room was adjacent to a highway on-ramp, so it was difficult to sleep at night. I would not recommend this hotel.

Close to Kyoto station, a hugh station. It took around 10 minutes to other side of the station to catch other form of transportation. Some eateries nearby. It’s very quiet inside the hotel. Love the next door 7-11 which got very busy at night.

Very friendly staff. We came in to check-in and i was soaking wet from sweat (its very hot in Japan) and one of the receptionist went out and came back with a towel for me. I didn't expected that 😳.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. It is located near Kyoto station and convenient to move for sightseeing. It has ten automatic washing machines, but they were not enough. Because the weather was too boiling(Sep.9-11), so we (many guests) needed to wash a lot of laundry, and had to wait for a long time. But there was one good point .
We could know how long we had to wait through the internet video system.

Typical Japanese Business hotel. Close to Kyoto Train station. What separates this business hotel from others is the huge breakfast…if you like Japanese. Good price, free storage lockers for your luggage.

Obviously this is a "budget" hotel but given the price point, we are extremely happy with this hotel! Very close to JR station and allows locks and lockers to lock your luggages after checking out.

Great location, is right next to Kyoto station. The room is clean, spacious and nice! The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is worth to try, a lot of variety. There is a 7-11 next to the hotel, two minutes walking distance. Overall, the experience is great staying in this hotel, highly recommended!!

Loved staying here! The staff were so kind and informative. It was very close to the Kyoto station which was awesome and didn’t feel that bad in this typhoon weather. Loved that there was a breakfast buffet (this is extra. About $10USD) and right under was a 711. They have great amenities too!

Room had a faint odor due to poor ventilation. When one leaves the room, there is not air movement, high humidity makes it worse. Breakfast is good but crowded, Kyoto is very busy. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Close to the train station but could be hard to find. I had to ask at the tourist information at the JR station. Hotel is behind the ibis hotel.

The stay was great. They had self check and check out which was efficient and the hotel is located pretty much across from the station. Great amenities and even had a dedicated HDMI connection to the TV.
You could even watch your washing on the TV go round and round and only $3 a load.

Modern building and excellent room. Only a few minutes walk to Kyoto station where you find hundreds of restaurants. Aeon Mall is also nearby. Did not take breakfast because it was very crowded. The complimentary drip coffee was good. You get your value from all aspects of what the hotel offer.
