The check in experience was perfect, the 24/7 check in made us feel we didnt have to rush to get to the hotel.Accomodating towards my assistance dog who stayed with us.Bed was extremely comfy, there was a stain on the sheet but it was clean.

came to Barrow for personal reasons, the staff were really nice, friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and even though our window looked out to BAE we saw the most amazing sunset. I had to stay an extra night and this wasn't a problem for them. Only problem I found was not enough milk. Very clean and beat night's sleep I had in a long time. Thank you to all the staff who made a difficult personal experience easier with their kindness and friendliness

Booked a family room for a one night stay.... Hotel itself a very nice building, very friendly staff.... The room as soon as we opened the door we were taken a back by the smell of cigarettes... (Corridors and other rooms within the hotel did not smell of this.) reported to reception staff who only apologised and assured us that she witnesses people going out for cigarettes ( not that made any difference) we decided to not take it any further and instead open all of the windows.... Freezing cold night in January would get rid of the smell you would think. However it did not. Couldn't wait to leave the next morning. Very disappointing for a family room with younger children staying. 4 drinks ordered from the bar all with flat mixers, no draft on at all .... A case of drink it or don't attitude from the night porter.

Easy city centre stay great helpful staff, hotel needs some investment soon to tidy the place up.

Our stay at the 'oyo imperial hotel' was a great stay, we arrived and were really helpful. The room was comfortable and homely, more pillows for the bed would have been nice, but it didnt take away from the over all experience. There is a market within walking distance and the town had everything within walking distance. I would definitely rate this hotel highly and will return again. 5*

Hotel was perfect for our needs. As per previous reviews it is a bit tired, needs a lick of paint and carpets in public areas are in need of either a deep clean or replacement. But the rooms were spot on for cleanliness and comfort. All we needed was a base for 2 nights and we got great value for money and would stay here again. Breakfast was great value for money and the staff in there were great and so welcoming. Reception staff were friendly too and overall it was perfect for our needs. On site parking is limited but there’s a massive public car park straight across the road that’s free (6pm to 8am I think).

Single rooms aren't as shown in pictures and the place needs a bit of an uplift. Two bars attached to the hotel are beneficial should you want a drink. Right in the town centre, and a decent little town.

It was not upto the expectation, rooms were untidy and un clean , overall not satisfied with the service

Room excellent. Bed great, had to text the missus that big and as for the bath , like an Olympic swimming pool. A fan to cool us down and as for the sex brought us back to teenagers

A beautifully appointed hotel in the centre of the town. Period building with lovely rooms. Nice and quiet after a busy day driving up

The hotel is old and not very well decorated, staff are not friendly at all . No food is served during our stay , apart from breakfast.the lift is not working , the room that my son was staying it was very hot no electric fan , we have to ask for it and that was quite difficult to get . The place is a damp! Nothing like the picture in their brousure

It was a horrible experience as on website said that the hotel gave free parking and when we arrived the receptionist said is unavailable... Tge elevator doesn't work and i had roon at 2nd and 3rd floor.... at 2 am in the morning the fire alarm start as one of the room i paid had the fire alarm defect and even the receptionist doesn't know . The towels was only for one person i don't understand if i made tge booking online and i specify that will be 4 adults ..... overall horrible experience . Definitely not coming back there !

Dated, and absolutely filthy. Marks on all walks, nail clippings behind sink. Avoid.

Hotel room was really small . The paint work has loads of paint missing and chips in the walls . Windows didnt open .. worse room i have stayed in by far .

Lovely staff, nice rooms, breakfast let you down, not cooked properly and poor quality.
