We had an amazing view from our balcony. The room was excellent! Very comfy and clean. Cleaning service each day was super. We will be going to stay here again next time

Loved being off road a little

Nice place to stay. Friendly staff and very clean in general. The only thing I would change is breakfast hours. They start serving at 8 am, but for those who like to start the day very early or go on a hike, you either have to spend extra money at another place to eat breakfast or just eat snacks.

Booked a delux room and it wasn’t Felix at all

If you like to run or go for a walk, there is an asphalt trail in either direction right in front of the hotel. We were there to do some hiking in the Smokey Mtn Natl Park. One day we drove through Pigeon Forge and Gatlinberg. We were so gald we chose not to stay there. Although they have more restaurants and children friendly things to do, the traffic and commercialism of those towns was horrific. Townsend was closer to the park had enough restaurants to satisfy us and was nice and calm. The staff at the Highland Manor were very nice and helpful. Our room was pretty small, but adequate.

Beds were comfortable, nice parking and pool and quiet. Breakfast could have more options, some sinks are not in bathroom which I do not like.

Extremely clean property. The lady at the front desk was so kind and explained many activities and restaurants close to the hotel. We had a great stay and will be back. Highly recommend this property and the city of Townsend.

We are so glad we chose this hotel! First of all, the location is perfect! Close to everything but quiet and a small town feel. The set up of the rooms are just as you would need with all the running to and from, site seeing, hiking, sweating, and swimming. Your car is right outside your door so bringing your cooler in and out is a breeze. Also, they sell bags of ice for your cooler on site, there is free ice for the room. The pool is wonderful with lots of chairs and a diving board. For showering there is great water pressure and tons of hot water. The cleanliness is great! They have a smiling and friendly crew that comes around every day to clean your room. You don't have to ask! The only negatives we found were that the club chairs in the room were a little uncomfortable, we sat in them late into the night talking and also that the air conditioning is old school so the one unit doesn't get the bathroom or little room off the bathroom very cool. As a woman, it made it a bit hard to get ready to go out for dinner without getting sweaty. To be fair, we were there during a heat wave, it was in the nineties all week! That's not a big enough deal to keep us from booking here again! Highly recommend!

Nice place!

Quite, large rooms. Close to national park.

We were greeted by Kimberly at check-in. From that moment on, we had a fabulous day. Enjoyed the continental breakfast and plentiful coffee. Got in the pool every afternoon after hiking. Excellent location. Clean rooms. Great accommodations! My only issue is the hard mattresses, but that's just me being a princess!

This hotel is a treasure!! My husband and I were delighted at its charm and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very clean, the customer service is wonderful, and all this for a reasonable price. We will be staying again when we visit Townsend.

Great location for biking at Cades Cove. Restaurant across the street and down the street. Easy to maneuver your bicycle into the balcony.
