This is a clean and utilitarian hotel meant for short-term turn around to the airport. Be advised, it is a walk to the airport train. They do provide a shuttle service, but it is a small car and needs to make frequent trips. Also be advised that they do not have a real restaurant. They have a small, very slow and understaffed "kitchen" that will take over 45 minutes to make a simple sandwich.

I tried cancelling this hotel and the customer svc representative was not helpful at all. I was stuck in Albany due to an airline delay and bad weather and never made it to the hotel!

I’m highly unlikely to recommend AC Hotel Atlanta Airport Gateway to anyone. My negative experience started at check-in when the staff was less than welcoming. Once I reached my room and prepared to freshen up, I discovered a towel with a ball of hair rolled up in it. I called to request the bathroom be cleaned again and fresh towels provided, but no one ever came. When I followed up later that night, I was told housekeeping had left for the day and there was nothing they could do. I was told they would check for a room change, but that didn’t happen either. Additionally, my experience at the hotel bar was just as disappointing. I was ignored by the bartender for 15 minutes, and when she finally took my order, there was no greeting to me or the other Black guests, despite her also being Black. I waited over an hour for my food while other guests who ordered at the same time were served. When I asked about my order, she took another 15 minutes before checking on it, then claimed the cook never received the ticket. Her dismissive behavior the entire time made me feel like she purposely withheld my order. Overall, my stay was an entire disappointment, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I got overcharged twice and son had no high chair. Staff was rude and disorderly never would I recommend or would I stay again. Still waiting on a refund

We got a room across from the elevator and connected to the loudest people. The sound proofing for the hallway and neighbouring rooms is not good. Also wish it had a hot tub / pool for $200 a night

Perfectly fine hotel for an overnight layover. Not much to do in the area, and the hotel is not going to appear in any design magazines, but it’s clean, looks to be fairly new, and is only a short train ride from the airport.
