I have stayed here many times since they have opened. My daughter goes to college in Milwaukee and every time I go up to see her I stay there. It USED to be so nice, maybe because it was new. This time, my room was not clean. I always check rooms before I stay, during this I found that one of the beds had a red orange fluid type stain on the mattress cover near the head of the bed that went down the side. With my phone flashlight I followed the stain down to the floor and there was a floor darkness stain looking spot on the patterned carpet. Also under the floating night stand were eye lashes and a contact. I went to the front desk to ask for someone to change the bedding. I was told that they didn't have anyone that could do that, there were 2 girls at the front desk, it was about 11pm. The one girl went and got me new bedding and handed it to me for me to change. Like oh thanks I get to clean up after some gross person left some bodily fluids behind. They told me they were booked so they couldn't move my room. So I changed the bedding and cleaned the whole room and bathroom with soap towels and my own antibacterial wipes I had. We needed both beds bc my teenage son was with me. The next morning, I found that they charged my debit card TWICE for the room. I went and asked the desk, they said "Well since we were booked up to capacity my manager charges the debit card on file the morning of the reservation, before check in." I said ok but you charged me TWICE.

Newer hotel. Convenient location. Lots of parking.

PROS check in was fast. Location good Lots of restaurants in the area Parking easy CONS we did not have water for a critical time. No shower or teeth brushing before we went out to our event. Hotel staff was not apologetic or communicative about this issue. That's a BIG CON. Shower was not clean enough when we were able to use it (the next day)

It was very easy to get to the hotel. A lot of options .

Our room wasn’t quite what we expected but I blame that on Hotels.com not passing along information. We had a good time and the hotel bent over backward to offer corrections for hotels.com’s mistakes!!!

I travel for work an dusually stay here when I come to Milwaukee area. The location is great and the staff here are lovely. I have a few issues...I had hardly any water pressure in my shower which was disappointing. I was going to say something but decided since I was only staying two days I didn't bother. Also, the coffee is AWFUL! I didn't taste the coffee in my room but the coffee in the breakfast area is really bad. If hotels could up their food game like offering gluten free options and food without high fructose syrup and toxic ingredients like that would be wonderful.

This hotel is quiet and clean. The bed was really comfortable! Breakfast was good too.

Overall this location was perfect for our stay. Our beds were so comfy, but I got the suite with the pull out couch bed. Since there was six of us in the room. The Mattress in the pull out bed was so thin and my friends could feel the springs digging into their backs. Plus, I asked if staff could make the bed for them, but they just said they leave the stuff to dress the bed in the closet and for us to do it. There was questionable stains on the couch cushions as well. Otherwise, the room was clean and bathroom was huge. The pool was slightly small but still nice, and the breakfast had a good spread. Staff was very friendly as well. So overall, place was nice, but just a few things that could have been better.

Centrally located around many shopping and food areas. Was easy to navigate to expressway. I was surprised to see cereal that other guests had dropped on the floor while returning to there rooms was not cleaned up 24hrs later

I ALWAYS stay at the Holiday Express (at least once a month) for business. The free breakfast food is awesome, and the hotel is new and fresh. Rooms are quiet and spacious. ONLY complaint is the room found dirty socks in the closet and used K cup in the Kuerig. Just a reminder - that someone else was there the night before. But I will be back

Our stay was okay. The pillows were uncomfortable. The bathroom needs to be updated. The toilet was so low. The lowest toilet I ever seen and the toilet seat felt like it was going to break. There was low water pressure in the shower and the tub was plugged. Took the water a long time to go down the drain. You had to stand in water while you were taking a shower. And I hated the dove liquid soap to wash your hands. Would’ve liked a bar soap. The lady at the front desk was friendly.
