Very disruptive people in adjoining hotel room. Yelling in the room and hallway all times of the day morning and night

I reserved my room 1 year ago. Was called and told I had to accept a 1 bed room due to overbooking. If I didn’t accept I would be refused at the hotel. The room we got first was not cleaned. Watching TV is difficult due to poor satilight due to inclement weather. Its sunny with light breeze and 90 degrees. If someone gets bumped it should be recient reservations. I was not offered any discount. I paid for a 2 bed room. Pretty crappy treatment by My Place

Nice hotel room but smoke detector started beeping in the middle of the night and the tv remote was taped together and only worked part of the time.

Less than Mid, the rooms are tiny and the beds are uncomfortable. TV remote was broken. Nice ice maker in room though. The lobby was not well kept and uninviting

I booked the room to stay. When i booked i booked a gueen bed room and it had like 8 available. When we check in they said it was the last room and it was handicap. Not what i booked. My wife wanted to be able to take a bath but could cuz there was no tub. Was gonna watch tv but could find a remote. Called the front desk and the brought random remote i had to test to see if they would work and they had no backs so had to make sure battery wouldn't fall out. We will never stay there again.

The only thing missing was cream for my coffee. Had an early flight, couldn’t get the coffee maker to work so found coffee in the lobby but no cream. Otherwise, a very good stay! Thank you!

Everything about this hotel works for us. The staff member was quite overwhelmed on Friday, being the only individual on site.

Had to request a different room twice, as the first two I was given had not been cleaned yet. Walking into a dirty room not once, but twice, is not on my bucket list of items I enjoy doing. Disappointed for sure. Definitely will not be reserving a room here again.

I booked a room with 2 queen beds at Myplace Shakopee MN on April 5 2024 for my trip May 18. The day before I arrived I called hotel directly to make sure I only was booked for one night and the hotel employee said while I have you on the phone I need to tell you we are over booked so you only have one bed. I said unacceptable as we need the two beds and have had a reservation since April 5 so someone who just booked can have one bed. I wasted my time with hotel and hotels.com for over an hour and no way would they honor my reservation. I needed to find a different hotel and pay double because last minute. They offered me a voucher for myplace hotel to be used another time. What good does that do as I needed a room in Shakopee MN for May 18 not some random date later I will never use Hotels.com or stay at a Myplace! Very disappointed in how I was treated by hotel and hotels.com.

Room was not particularly very clean. Cable TV did not work. Sink in batch room was clogged. Room had a “musty” odor. Front desk staff was not very friendly and would rather have a personal conversation on their cell phone than talk to a guest standing at the front desk. This is the place we usually stay when we come to Canterbury Park Track but I will be looking for alternative hotels for the dozen or more weekends were in town this summer.

I booked rooms with two queen beds on your website. 3 days before our trip the hotel called me to tell me there were only rooms available with one queen bed. Luckily we didn't have to have two beds in each room or we would have been out of luck. I will probably quit using your site and nook directly with the hotels going forward so this does not happen again. This was not the hotels fault. They were very good to work with.

Upon arrival room appeared clean. Room had kitchen, but no kitchen supplies ie. Plates, pans, ect. I was aware for this, as we have stayed at a my place before but figured it should be mentioned. We stayed 2 nights, we left for our activities for the day and returned to find that we were locked out of our room. No big deal, fronk desk help was friendly and fixed our key cards. They did not clean our room between night 1 and night 2, not sure if this is something you have to request but noticed a door hanger in room that said put this out if you don't want them to clean. We did not put that out. Now I'm able to clean up after myself however fresh towels and empting garbage would of been nice. Overall, decent location and we would stay again.
