I was a vendor at Junk Bonanza and stayed three nights at my place hotel. There are no dishes or silverware in the cupboards so if you plan to bring in meals, also plan to bring in silverware and dishes. It’s really nice having the convenience of full size fridge and the counter space to spread out. Goodwill is just down the street and has dishes and silverware to buy for cheap. I always go to Hy-Vee about a mile up the road for food. The recliner and bed and pillows were all super comfortable.

Hotel itself is nice. Great kitchen, easy access to Canterbury.
However, I arrived at 11pm and waited for over 20 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk to check me in. I called the number as stated on the sign but it just made the front desk phone ring over and over. When someone finally did come in the employee smelled like smoke/pot.
I have stayed here multiple times and every single time I see employees smoking outside, talking with people that have come to visit, etc.
Nice little hotel, but the employees not so much.

Stayed the weekend to be close to the Renaissance Festival and it was great. Room was clean and free from bad odors. Everything met my expectations.
There were a few funny things with the room, but that didn't detract from everything being great. The few funny things were: Could not find a sleep option for the TV, there was only one night stand (I used a chair from the table as a second nightstand to put my phone and water bottle on while I slept), and the toilet seat was a bit loose.
Overall it was a great stay, and if we are in the mood to do this all over again, My Place will be too of my list to stay at again.

I loved how they had a functioning kitchen in every room with q good ice maker. But you have to pay extra and purchase kitchen tools (ie, pans, spoons ect.) Seperately. This was not informed beforehand. I have stayed in other hotels that offer the same amenaties and provide full kitchen nisecities for no additonal cost. For just as cheap of a price. Other than that the staff was excelent and the hotel was wonderfully clean and secure. I would still utilize this service

I reserved my room 1 year ago. Was called and told I had to accept a 1 bed room due to overbooking. If I didn’t accept I would be refused at the hotel. The room we got first was not cleaned. Watching TV is difficult due to poor satilight due to inclement weather. Its sunny with light breeze and 90 degrees. If someone gets bumped it should be recient reservations. I was not offered any discount. I paid for a 2 bed room. Pretty crappy treatment by My Place

We thought the room was GREAT, except for the hand held shower wand in our ADA bathroom. There was plenty of water pressure from the Spickett, but very little from the hand held.

Less than Mid, the rooms are tiny and the beds are uncomfortable. TV remote was broken. Nice ice maker in room though. The lobby was not well kept and uninviting

I booked the room to stay. When i booked i booked a gueen bed room and it had like 8 available. When we check in they said it was the last room and it was handicap. Not what i booked. My wife wanted to be able to take a bath but could cuz there was no tub. Was gonna watch tv but could find a remote. Called the front desk and the brought random remote i had to test to see if they would work and they had no backs so had to make sure battery wouldn't fall out. We will never stay there again.

The only thing missing was cream for my coffee. Had an early flight, couldn’t get the coffee maker to work so found coffee in the lobby but no cream. Otherwise, a very good stay! Thank you!
