Absolutely beautiful place very comfortable and cute like beach feel rooms. Has everything you need . A communal kitchen places to store your food laundry room with washer and dryer. Garden will chairs loungers pool .

Basic motel, but looked to be recently refurbished. Modern bathroom, clean minimalist decor. Always look for King room, so it was great to have that as an option. Very comfortable overnight stay while travelling.

A seamless stay at The Cubana Ballina. A very quick overnight, but we really loved the Palm Springs vibe!
Peonie was so friendly on check in and as we were later then thought on checking in, she had gone and turned the lights on in the room for us.
Room was delightful and well appointed. Very modern and fun.
Room was far enough away from the road, that we weren’t bothered by noise. Our only bummer was we didn’t have more time to hang out and enjoy the facilities.
Communal area of kitchen and lounge was a
perfect size and well equipped to head up to Woolies and grab some eggs to cook breakfast.
Next time, we’re passing through we would definitely re book the Cubana 🌟

Spacious, well-equipped family room. Great shower, excellent towels. Friendly, helpful staff with a great list of local dining options including dietary requirements.
Traffic noise was a bit loud from fast road, but it didn't disturb my sleep. Beds were large and comfortable.

Clean comfortable rooms with nice outdoor BBQ area. Friendly staff and close to the main shopping areas of Ballina.
Car parking spots are a bit tight if you get caught next to big 4WDs or utes.
Would recommend and stay again when in Ballina.

It was quiet in the complex, with some road noise but didn’t notice if during the night. Friendly staff and clean room. Easy walk to the main part of town and RSL for dinner.

Renovated rooms have been styled nicely and functional.
Beds are very comfortable and everything you need like bowls, plates and cultery supplied. Great for an overnight stay. Only thing is the electronic door lock can be fussy to open.

We called this motel the one that you could walk in without motel or shower shoes. We were super impressed by the cleanliness and the furnishings in the motel. There are so many other motels that just have drab, dated decor with ancient bathrooms with years of mould ground into the silicon with carpets you stick too. It was so refreshing to stay in a place where you felt care and customer service. As others said the sheets and mattress were super comfortable too. Thank you.

Cute, clean and newly renovated retro style accommodation. Perfect stay for one night with family of 4. Shower was amazing and bed fairly comfortable. Pool was clean and great for a quick dip on a hot day. Service was super friendly and helpful. There is a shared kitchen to cook up a meal and laundry (although we didn’t use these amenities).

Loved the Cubana! It's like they watched Motel Makeover when designing it, which is great. Rooms are basic but well renovated. A mirror and some coat hooks in the room would be great. Property is super cute, staff are friendly, short walk to the RSL or other dining options. Loved our stay! A tad noisy from cars but to be expected in a motel. Had a great stay.

Lovely vibe at this motel. It’s had a beautiful retro style refurbishment and the rooms are fresh, bright and clean. I had some issues with the door to my room but the staff were prompt to address it and very apologetic. I would stay here again next time I am in Ballina.

Earlier survey maligned the room unfairly. The glass shards on the floor were not there on our arrival, rather they were bought in by us in the carton of drinks we had just purchased. So our stay on the whole was good to excellent thanks
