Every corner of the Ace Kyoto has been beautifully designed. Check in was smooth and easy and the team shared maps full of local recommendations for where to eat nearby. The front desk generously arranged our taxis every morning for exploring. There’s a shopping atrium attached to the hotel that was perfect for browsing during a rainy afternoon. Our room was gorgeous and the shower was 10/10. We never had to wait for an elevator and the breakfast offerings were varied and delicious, especially the French toast. The stay far exceeded my expectations.

Great hotel in the middle of Kyoto. Right by a subway line. The quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Excellent front desk that helped with all of our needs. The lobby has a fun hip vibe that is similar to other Ace Hotels. Great Stumptown coffee in the lobby as well. Will definitely stay again!

Ace Hotel is situated in a great location and very walkable. This was most important to my husband and I. The staff were all courteous and will do their best to help you in any way they can. Highly recommended

Ace Hotel is in a great central location. It is a beautiful hotel. The historic rooms are the best by far. We loved the adjacent outdoor mall that had cute shops and great food offerings.

It is a fashionable and fun hotel. There was a guitar and a turntable to listen to. You can also use your mobile phone to connect to the bluetooth speaker. There are many things going on at the hotel and worth having a look. There are some dining options at the hotel but they are mainly western oriented. Although the staffs at the hotels and restaurants were really great and friendly, and I wish to praise them. But the quality of the cocktail at the rooftop bar was little bit bland to my taste at a hotel like this fashionable. If there is next time, I will try the bar at the taco one. The mall connected has many shops and restaurants and worth having a look. There's the Stump Town coffee and the Le Labo makes your perfume fresh at the store! The way to the station is right underneath so it was really convenient.

Ace Hotel Kyoto is a true gem in the city. The vibe, staff, and restaurants on site are all spectacular. I will say that if you’re looking for a traditional hotel, this is not it but our stay in the Ace Suite more than accommodated myself, my husband and our young daughter. I love the pajamas offered and we made use of the record player. The restaurants on site are great but rather pricey. If you’re looking for a great meal, there are many restaurants much cheaper with excellent food within walking distance. Overall, we would stay again, the price is a bit higher but the hotel is in a great location and the suite was a great size.

I was traveling alone after being with family for 10 days. I have stayed at the Ace in other locations and really enjoy the cultural pov the Ace has in the different locales. Staff was super helpful in arranging a car service for me to Kanazawa. I only wish they offered onsen/massage services, if not at the hotel, but nearby.

Nice property, easy access to the train. Also very walkable to Osaka Station.
The staff were nice.
I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant. Fell short of the expensive price tag. Plenty of great restaurants around the area. And if you love coffee, there’s a great coffee shop one block behind the hotel, called Peak Roast Coffee.
Overall an ok place to stay, it’s new and has good access to all areas of Osaka.

Amazing comfortable clean hotel for family of four with two little kids. Beds are the biggest we’ve seen so far in Japan. Comfortable sleep. Close to train station and shopping.
