Walked front m property to and from the airport at night. Road full of pot holes and street lighting was poor but seemed safe enough. Nice big bed, no fridge or tv but I don’t asnt looking for that. Just one night stay close to airport to meet friend on arrival before going elsewhere next day.

There is four rooms and owners asking which room are you booked.

I advised to you must check all facilities, food prices and Room which is you booked.

The lodge is a walking distance from the airport. The staff at the check-in were friendly. Air-conditoner worked well. However, there was no hot water or shampoo in the bathroom. The garbage bin was not emptied from the previous guests. WiFi is available only on the terrace, not in the room. The restaurant was closed so no breakfast or coffee in the morning.

The room was clean and the arrival reception from Lily was great. There was a room ready, which is what we were given, so we were able to go in a bit early. However we paid for a superior AC room but from the looks of the photo we were given a basic double. We were early and told them we were okay to wait until check in time and would eat at their restaurant but they said the room was ready so no problem.
Mamta was there when we arrinved but didn't even say hello.
When Lily left there was little help. The lunch was freshly cooked and delicious. We said we'd be there for dinner and were asked to preorder to that the cook would have it prepped. We ordered the fillet fish meal but received boned fish which was a little too dry and no veg as per menu. We asked and they paid no attention or even tried to explain why. Mamta sat in her living room and ignored us. The gentleman who served said he didn't know anything and had to charge full price.
The tap in the bathroom was broken and the blinds did not close fully. There was a car that was reversed into the parking spot in front of our room so the exhaust fumes were able to come in the room.
Couldn't access the lounge (TV area) it was locked and there was no tea/coffee as per description.

Zero stars due to very poor facilities, zero communication. The owner mamta has zero skills of communication as don’t reply to emails. I was given wrong room with no aircon but i booked the room with aircon and was given no option so I have to stay with fan in room and was not able sleep whole night and my next day long journey was ruined. There was no power point , no coffee or tea and food. The facility says food available but was told that chef is going home when asked at 9pm and had to go towards airport that late for dinner. Their motel driver was rude and asked me to pay in nz dollar when i said I can pay him at airport after exchanging to local currency. He lied too saying there is no exchange rate shop at departure Dont trust what they advertise , prepare for worst as they lie. Book other hotel to avoid this terrible experience.

It was a fairly easy walk from the airport to Westfield in the evening, although I opted for a ride back ($10/Fiji) in the midday sun.
Not very organized. Don't look for a check-in counter, but everyone is friendly and helpful. Food readily available, as you walk through the little open-air restaurant to get to your room.
My room was small (expected), but everything worked fine, from the A/C to the shower (hot water). Overall cleanliness was maybe a 3/5.
I'd probably stay again under similar circumstances (overnight layover or early flight).

Overall, the stay was ok. But the amenities advertised on the listing was very misleading. First, there was no laundry facilities on site so I had to go to a laundromat in town. Second, the WiFi is non existent, no signal found anywhere within the room. Third, the kitchen was just setup for display purposes. There was no gas hooked up to the stove and the only usable thing is an electric kettle. Lastly, there is no security of any kind on site. After 10PM they would lock the front gate and you’ll have to wait for someone to answer the phone before they will come to open the gate. Very misleading listing, if I had known about all of these issues beforehand I would have avoided this place.

The hot water had little pressure in shower.The interior looked old.The aircon barely cooling in bedroom.utencil supplied looked very old .The pillows needs replacing its heavily stained inside the pillow case..There is no sound proofing between the 2 units gets noisy.secondly next to it is jacks factory with lots of noise.
On the plus side its close to the airport.

It was an unpleasant checkin experience. We paid for a private room with bathroom and aircon. Arrived to a room with no aircon amd a shared room. It is disappointing with host receiving my husband to told him off if he doesn't like it, its either he stays or leave. Condition of room was not what the photos posted in the listing.

Otherwise we had a terrible stay here. I would never recommend someone stay here. The room clearly had not been cleaned. There was used items all over the room. We were given one towel which was already wet.. no hot water. Toilet didn’t flush. No wifi. The air conditioning unit is extremely loud. Something was leaking during the night because when we woke up the ground (and our bags) were soaking. They gave no room key but I guess we didn’t need one because the room didn’t lock. We got woken up in the morning by someone walking into our room!! Also woken up at 3am by roosters. Then woken up at 6am by someone vomiting outside our room. The smoke detector battery must’ve been low because it beeped loudly every 30 minutes. No blankets given, just a twin sized sheet (for a double bed) that had holes in it. The foot board had nail sticking straight out of it so if your feet hung over the edge of the bed you were getting cut. It truly was a horrible stay. I had read not great reviews about it but thought it would be okay for one night but it was not worth it, spend the extra money to stay somewhere else!!!

We were able to check in early which was nice, and the room was good with working aircon, but there were mouse droppings on the window sill. Some of the window panes didn't close properly and there was always a lot of activity just outside, which meant little privacy. No wifi or washing machine. The hosts were a bit un-helpful and they tried to double charge us, though this might have been an accident.

Off the main roads n even taxi access difficult on rough roads. Clean tidy n family friendly homestay.. private quiet to yourself if you prefer. Grandma cooks beautiful crab curry
