Charming decor. Outstanding location. One building away from Main Street; very walkable to the Grand Hotel. I only gave it a 4 b/c there was no elevator (and no valet to tip to haul your suitcase up the stairs) and no noise insulation. The next building was only a few feet outside our window, and there was a half inch opening under our room door allowing in all noise from the hallway as if the people were right in your room. This opening also let in light, keeping the room from getting fully dark at night. But overall it was good and I would stay there again. Suggestion: When you get off the ferry, tip the ferry dockworkers and they will carry your suitcases up the stairs to your room. But you still have to carry it down yourself.

Hotel room was outstanding. The front desk was incredible, she let us drop our bags and enjoy the day while they were getting the room ready. The location is directly across from the ferry landing so easy to get there and to go home. We had a corner room overlooking the main street and had a view of Lake Huron also. All the restaurants are just fown the street an easy walk. Taxi was available to go up to the Fort or the Grand. Highly recommend the Pontiac Lodge.

This hotel requires a walk up a flight of stairs, I don’t believe they have an elevator. It’s right next to the Kingston kitchen at the village inn which has great food. It’s also close to other restaurants and shops, right downtown. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious and nicely decorated. It was very comfortable. I have zero complaints about the hotel. They had a dockporter bring our bags to and from the ferry and up to our room. We had a great stay.

Location is great and convenient to downtown area and there are great dining options literally next door.

Really liked our room. The setup was great. Very convenient to ferry. Could have been a little cleaner. There was a used water bottle next to the base of the bed. Also, the room could use another lamp.

Stayed on a Tuesday night. We got in our room early. It was very clean and quiet. My husband is a hotel snob and he didn’t complain at all. The beds weren’t overly comfortable, but the location was beyond perfect. We biked around the island and took showers before dinner. It was close to the coffee shop in the morning. Excellent trip.

Excellent location for a couple of nights on Mackinac Island. So close to Main Street attractions that one can walk anywhere along Main Street.

The location and the staff makes this property five stars. There were some kind of steep stairs getting to the room making it little difficult for some in our group, and I’d suggest a topper for the mattress, as it was little hard for my liking but overall it was a very nice stay.

I was glad to have a space to sleep, but I was not a room I would want to stay in for long. It was clean, but confined.

I would definitely stay here again. It is a quick walk from the Shepler ferry and an easy walk to a quieter part of town. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed.

The room was small but just enough room for us all to sleep. However the sheets on one of our beds was dirty with hairs all over inside it and didn’t fine out until bedtime and couldn’t get in touch with anyone to get new sheets. There were dust bunnies under the trundle bed. One lady at the front desk was very rude and snarky to us. The other one was really kind and helpful. No windows besides a skylight in the room. Felt we should have had better service for the amount of money it cost to stay there.
