Pros - big room, clean, excellent shower/bathroom and good location Cons - Do not offer baggage transfer which was very inconvenient, check in was a real pain the online process did not work properly and the lady did not help us when I asked if she could do it. have to pay for a toothbrush and pyjamas rental, towels not changed every day and was a pain to change. Also only 1 pillow provided with each bed. When requested another they do not provide.

The room was comfortable and clean and staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Not a big fan of automatic checkin and checkout, but besides that, very happy with the hotel. They only provide soap so don't forget your toiletries.

Great location and hotel. We had adjoining rooms for our family which were very spacious. While there was a washing machine in the room, you have to go to the laundry room for ironing. Great location for Kenrokuen Gardens and Kanazawa Castle Gardens.

Room is spacious and clean. Free laundry service. Parking site is a bit difficult to find and it needs prior booking. Walkable to attractions. Overall, it was a nice stay. 😊

Liked the apartment style room, worth the little extra just to stretch a little after the cramped rooms in other areas of Japan. Worth what we paid, and Kanazawa is a lovely area, could have done with at least an extra day to explore further. If returning to Janazawa I would book again.

Rooms were nice with plenty of room. Batbrooms were great. Only thing was no hand soap in bathrooms. It was a great location to go see sites.

Favorite hotel of our trip to Japan, wished we stayed longer! Loved the space, the kitchenette, the tatami room, and the spa bath! Kids loved having their separate space in the tatami room and slept well on the futons. Bus stop right outside and property is also an easy walk to a lot of key places.

Definitely the best hotel we stayed at during our trip through Japan. Spacious, clean, fair priced, in suite laundry.

Despite the overall pleasant atmosphere and the availability of a water fountain in the lobby, the room lacks a window view, robes, coffee or tea amenities, daily cleaning or towel replacement, resulting in accumulated garbage. Additionally, there's a potentially hazardous corner on the bed, and limited channel options, with only Japanese channels available.

The best hotel I have ever stayed at

Minn is great. Close enough to train station to walk there or by bus. Also close to Castle and park. Highly recommend Plat home restaurant but make reservations days in advance. Chef was great. Hotel staff were eXcellent. Especially Ms Miabi who generously gave her reservation to us. So kind. Arigato Ms Miabi. Huni restaurant also great with reservation required. Easy electronic check in and check out with codes for room and late bldg entrance. Very convenient. No keys or cards required.

The location, decor, cleanliness were good, however, for the price (paid more than other comparable hotels), the room didn’t have the basic amenities such as teabags, a second bath towel, etc. They didn’t even have a table to take your needed care items such as toothbrush, comb, etc. i was solo but would appreciate a second hand and bath towel especially I didn’t get any cleaning service. I didn’t like all the assisted/self check in process either. I had to do it on my phone, I was so tired when i arrived, just wanted her to check me in and give me my room key and not have her show me how to input all the information on my phone and submit. And when I got to my room, I realized she forgot to give me the wifi password so I had to go back to the lobby to retrieve - because there wasn’t a phone in the room to call the front desk! FYI, the room has a passcode keypad for entry, call me old fashion, I like a swipe key or the option to have a swipe key. During checkin, she prompted me to screenshot my passcode but I didn’t like the extra step to scroll through my phone to find that screenshot after a full day of photographing everything in sight.

The hotel does not offer any service - there is not breakfast and there is no minibar or coffee/tea in the rooms. you can leave your bags when you arrive and the room is not ready - check in only after 3pm - in a rooms with padlocks as they do not supervise. Rooms comfortable.

Big family room and comfortable. Location very close to station.

Room size was good, but could be better with windows. Also each bed had only a single pillow. Typically two pillows per bed. Bathroom jacuzzi tub was a welcome feature.

Relatively Spacious compared to other Japanese hotel. Hi-tech exprerience of staying. Need to have more amenities such as tooth brush, tooth paste, razor etc. (even if it is not free, better to have it as the option)

1) Pre-chk in online : I was not aware of it until standing in front of the reception at 3pm. Therefore, it's a bit awkard to proceed the process while someone waiting in front of you. Better to be informed ahead by email a few days ago. 2) Windows & bed edges : windows seem able to be fully opened but one would bounce back due to curtains beside it. Sharp edges of the mattress board were dangerous - though a plastic buffer was attached to it but it was loose & fell out several times. 3) Love its great location close to fish market & Kanazawa castle. We will come back next time & book the room with kitcken!

Nice modern facility

One of the nicest hotels I stayed at during my time in Japan. Rooms were actually spacious and well designed with great amenities. Front desk was incredibly friendly. Only downside is that luggage storage was in an open room not in view of the front desk.

Great stay, very nice rooms, more than adequate size. Close to everything you need in Kanazawa. Only thing is noise from the road outside. Would stay again.

A tastefully designed hotel that presses all the right buttons. Love its location and convenience to most toyrist destinations. Value for money. Highly recommended

The room was big, bed was super comfortable and big, great wifi, shower was huge. Located near the market and the castle. BUT we had an unfortunate case with the front desk. prior to our arrival we received an email stating that we can check-in at 2 pm if the room is ready, even though the official check in time is 3pm. When we arrived after 2pm, we did the auto check in process that includes a video call to a remote front desk , and they refused to check us in. Then a woman came from the backdoor to the lobby to help us, and said that the room is ready, but if we want to check in at 2 we need to pay extra 4,000yen. We told her that we received an email stating that a free check in at 2pm is possible, and she insisted we had to pay. After long arguing with her we showed her the email and then she suddenly remembered that we can check in for free at this point, and told some excuses about a system changing. We felt like she was lying, trying to scam us and steal our money. From this point on, we did not feel safe at the hotel and whenever left the room we locked all our stuff in the suitcase. That feeling clouded the atmosphere and our stay at the hotel.
