The space was great for a couple! Lots of extras. The email sent with code had the wrong code. The TV had no instructions and the volume did not work for a few days. When we called, it took 24 hours before anyone came. The pool and hot tub were a lot of fun!

EXCELLENT PROPERTY/MOST CONVENIENT LOCATION IN MAUI (in my opinion South Maui/Kihei is a central perfect place to stay with a rental car in order to explore the entire island during your stay) FREE ASSIGNED PARKING SPACE IS GREAT! - When I booked this property through Expedia I saw mixed reviews, so I wasn't sure what to expect, yet trust me, this place is a GREAT CHOICE! CHOOSE THIS ONE!! We had everything we needed at this property and more!!! Look no further, this is the place to stay! Beautiful property (UNIT T-202 - UPDATED AND MODERN WITH EVERYTHING WE NEEDED SUPPLIED IN UNIT INCLUDING BEACH CHAIRS AND WAVE BOARDS - Unit was tucked nicely in back of property like a home away from home, great pool, excellent location with soft white sand beach right in front of the property, everything we needed was in the kitchen and bathroom). Staying here made our vacation relaxing and PERFECT!

Hotel was small and cramped. Front office was about 3 hotel properties down the street to get towels. Unpleasant odor from furniture and ac wall unit. We got a small room cramped with an oversized mini fridge next to the tv dresser reducing clearance from the front door to the beds. The room next door was what I was expecting. Kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom and washer and dryer. Nearly 3 times bigger than what we got. So dissatisfied with this hotel. Will never book with them again.

The property itself is in a great location by a great beach. Just be advised that if you book through castle resorts, you will have to phone them if you need anything in the room. You will not be able to use the front desk, which is operated by Aston, a different company. We were able to get a fresh set of towels in the middle of our 10 day stay, which was nice. The Castle front desk which you have to call was very accommodating. The toaster and dish washer definetly needed upgrading in our room, but this is a minor issue, as all rooms are different to some extent. Most rooms have your basic necessities which is great. Overall, a nice and economical condo, close to beach and amenities.

The condo is perfect size for a couple, having a full kitchen and laundry made it feel very comfortable and homey. The building is quiet. Pool is nice. Beach is a short walk away.

The location was very convenient as it was a quick walk to the beach and there were a lot of food and grocery options within a 5-10min drive.
The room condition was clean and as expected. The host was very kind and quick at responding, and allowed us an additional 3 hrs for late check out. This was very much appreciated!!

This unit was very dated and not very clean. Beds were not comfortable at all. Our flight was delayed a day and the management company refused to give us any concessions. Property was beautiful though and across the street from the beach

It may be close to the ocean, but so many things wrong with this place. The room had a pocket door that was off track so there was no privacy between the shower & toilet from the bedroom & sink. Called for maintenance to come & fix it. They never came, nor called, texted or emailed. Front desk states they have nothing to do with private rooms, so they are of no help if there is a problem. The patio door doesn't lock & a piece of the air conditioning unit fell off in the middle of the night. Low fan speed is not low, it is quite strong & blows in your face if you stay on the bed next to it. Coffee for guests would be nice who are Staying there. I would not stay there again even if it is the cheapest place to stay.

We have stayed at the Maui Banyan several times before. Our room, Q405 was very clean and had an excellent partial ocean view. The unit was just missing a few kitchen items, such as a “flipper” and cutting board…nothing that affected our enjoyment of Maui.
The grounds are very well kept, and bbq area kept spotless!
We would request this unit when we return to beautiful Maui once again!

Booked a double full; got a queen and a pull out from 1990. Plumbing issues in both bathrooms. Outdated. Kitchen lacking bowls, literally one bowl.

I STRONGLY recommend avoiding this place. I am very upset with Expedia for hosting this place. The room is outdated. The Internet was slow and kept dropping. The loud and cold AC was less than 1 foot from the bed. I could not sleep with the AC on, and the room was unbearably hot.
I called the management the first night about the AC and if they can move us. I was promised in the morning. I never got a callback. Worst place I have been ever.

Easy quick walk to beach. Quiet property with parking structure. This unit provided all the basics and some nice perks too (boogie boards, beach chairs and more).

The lockout was fine, had nice shower. The air conditioning was intermittent and loud. Worst part was no ice available. Small fridge didn’t have freezer and no ice machine on property made it hard to take food to beach.

At our arrival time, the front desk ladies were not friendly; I asked several questions regarding towels, cleaning service, etc. One of them said no tools or cleaning service is all on your own, the unit owner provides you with a few things, and you have to do the rest. :( The washer machine was broken. The technician checked it out on our third day, but it was not fixed until two days before our departure. We were there for 16 days. The unit furniture needs an update. The couch and decorative pillows are ancient and small, and the air conditioner is very loud.

The property is well-situated as it is walking distance to places to eat and the beach is across the street. However, the AC is poor so we did not sleep well. It is on a 4 hour timer so when it turns off in the middle of the night you wake up roasting and have to get up to turn the timer AC back on. We will NOT stay here again for that reason.

This room was very run down and old. We did not receive any service like towel exchange. Air conditioner was right beside the bed blowing on it. Curtains were old and gross and did not keep the light out. Not very nice for $3000cdn for 7 nights

The property was really nice, beautiful lush grounds. Pools were really nice also. Well kept up. Great location, right access from the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Was not happy with the rooms. Our condo did not match the photos on the Expedia web site. Kitchen and bathroom very dated (it was not like the room photos) ! Grout and mold in bathroom. We were able to move to a different condo, still outdated! Had multiple issues at both locations. Not happy with the condition of both room.

We were fortunate to get H208 which had a nicely renovated kitchen, floors, bathrooms with very clean and comfortable furniture. Not exactly a "garden view" but more like partial ocean view when you turn the chairs on the lanai to the left and is quite pleasant. A very quiet and peaceful setting throughout. The front desk can't help you if you have any problems in your condo. Castle Maui Banyan is managed by KSM Castle Resorts & Hotels. See your email reservations for contacting them. We needed a frying pan and they delivered one quickly. Great location.

Loved the landscaping!!! Beautiful! Parking not so much. Room was comfortable. However, room wasn’t serviced at all during stay. Ran out of towels, had to go buy some. When I asked front desk, they said our room was “privately owned” and they couldn’t service us. They were polite about it tho. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

A very convenient location with the beach right across the street! Had a variety of dining / grocery store options close by. The apartment had all the necessities. Two things that could improve: A frying pan is a must in the kitchen. Because the fridge did not have an ice maker, an ice cube tray would have been helpful. Also at a minimum provide salt and pepper shakers and sugar.

We've stay in room T202. The room was nice and clean . The sofa bed however, was broken and no one care to come and fix it. Also, the door bell box was hanging down .
Overall we had a nice time.
