We have stayed here last 3 times we've been in Topeka, and 1st 2x, great, this time, nope. Bed was not comfortable, sink water pressure, NONE. This wasn't at all what we expected, will rethink staying here next time.

Friendly staff. Decent location. Food available within walking distance. Room spacious, but the bathroom needed a little more attention to detail: 3 towels for a 4 person booking, no conditioner, and an unappealing ring of grime around the shower drain.

Overall a nice hotel. Staff were very kind. We just had 2 complaints. We booked a room that said it slept 6 people (2 queen beds, 1 pull out double). The room we received had 2 queen beds and a futon. It worked for us since we had 5 people, but was not as described. Also the AC did not seem to work. The room was over 80 degrees when we arrived. We set the AC to 65 and it never got below 72. It was overly hot.

Upon arrival I was told that “Expedia overbooks all the time” and I didn’t have a room. Staff was rude and not accommodating at all.i was told I would have to call Expedia or and “figure it out” while I was on the phone with Expedia the lady motioned for me to come over and apologized saying she was wrong and I did have a room. We could have done without the extremely poor customer service.

The Hotel itself was nice since it's only 4 years old. The bed was not comfortable, we asked to have the room cleaned, they forgot so my wife ended up cleaning the room herself. All in all the stay was ok but was expecting better. Was first time staying at a Marriot Hotel will probably be the last time

The hotel building is great in every way. However, the same cannot be said for the amenities, primarily the breakfast. I have stayed at more economical hotels with breakfasts that were far better. Depending on the day, biscuits were hard and dry, the croissants were soggy, no orange juice, items late to arrive.... At these rates I expected better.

Multiple people in and out roaming around with the drinks. Staff was not knowledgeable about anything no security for safety anywhere in the parking lot or the building. Anytime I asked the question staff the few staff they had on the weekend often use the phrase I don’t know unsay I felt.

I stayed at this property for a couple of days. Overall, the room was nice, but the design of the bathroom shower (shower door was hard to open and close) was a bit of a hassle. This hotel has potential to be a great hotel, but they just lacked paying attention to details. There were strands of hair on the couch/crumbs, a couple of red stains on the bedding, leftover make up marks on the bedding, and a couple of tiles along the floorboard were just taped to the wall instead of repaired. For the hotel to be fairly new, it was underwhelming for a Marriott. The bed was comfortable though besides the issues mentioned earlier.

Excellent room layout and design, good comfort, friendly and professional staff. Cons: poor shower design means if you aren't aware and careful, you're going to end up with a small lake on the bathroom floor after showering, and since there is no fan, it stays swampy for a long time! Also, no helpful policies re: EV parking, so if you want to charge from one of their 2 chargers, you have to get there early and hope and pray that an ICEr hasn't blocked it.
