This was the most pleasant 48 hours I have had in years! Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I Would live here if I could. I couldn’t find anything to clean in the room – it was spotless. The layout of the room was a breath of fresh air and the shower was amazing.

The hotel and room were very clean! We were able to check in an hour early which was convenient and the ease and access to the parking ramp was great. Our only issue was how uncomfortable the bed was and our AC unit wasn’t working properly, so the room was quite warm. We would stay again, the location was perfect!

Weekend away with partner. Room was clean and contemporary. Walkable location. Mattress was old and lumpy. We kept rolling into the center of the mattress because it was so worn out (for reference, I am 110#). The people in the room above us kept us up all night. They were “stomping” around their room until 4:00 am (kids, perhaps?). It was awful.

Had such a great experience here! I travel with my cat frequently. Most hotels that say they are pet friendly are only dog friendly. So it can sometimes be challenging finding accommodations. Not only was this hotel cat friendly, I was also given a cute goodie bag with a couple cat toys for my stay. Upon check in the front desk attendant was super friendly and helpful:) if I am ever in the area again this will be at the top of my list for places to stay.

Very impressed with hotel and all its services besides there is no longer a continental breakfast in the lobby. There is a restaurant and they did offer an $18 buffet for breakfast. That seemed a little costly to me when all I would have liked was a bagel or some cereal and a cup of coffee or juice.

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent and the parking was attached to the hotel. The room was spotless and I loved the University of Wisconsin decor. This is where I stay when I come to Madison.

Bathtub backed up with water and it took forever for it to drain.
They have a parking lot attached but its $20 a night to park, there really isnt any other option though.

We tried to set up housekeeping for our last day of our stay. Staff wouldn’t book it with days in advanced. They wanted us to tell them the day of. So we waited and told them the day of. Front desk asked us what time we wanted it. We requested the morning. Left the room all morning so they could clean it, to come back to the room not done.

Solid hotel near U of Wisconsin campus as well as downtown. Newly renevated and clean. Staff was very friendly. We came on a parents' weekend and prices were a little high.

I had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Large room and bathroom, the best closet I've ever seen in a hotel, and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was tasty - both the buffet and made to order options. It was a very easy walk to UW campus and State street. Coffee shops, restaurants, and shops all walkable from the hotel.
