I wish I could give this hotel the highest ratings but there were some huge drawbacks for me. The property itself is amazing—very clean, luxurious, comfortable beds, beautiful pool and great staff. It’s the surroundings that left a lot to be desired. It was like they put lipstick on a pig—it’s VERY noisy, even with the windows being sound blocking, and *red flag* they actually give you earplugs on your bedside table, which tells you they know it’s super loud. Apparently the surrounding community has no mufflers on any of their cars/motorcycles, and they like to drive around the area just because. And then there’s the rooftop concert that was happening at their sister resort next door. I think if I were 30 years younger and still drinking a lot, this would be the perfect property. It is just steps from the beach, there’s lots of little food huts and people watching around, and live music. But if you’re looking for a relaxing stay, this is not it. We usually stay in Encinitas, and we will be staying there in the future. This was not it for me, sorry MPBR.

Awesome stay, can’t wait to return. The property is really nice, lots of places to just hang out and relax. The rooftop bar is great. Service was wonderful all around. The hotel and room were clean and really well decorated. The hotel is pet friendly and they did a great job supporting pet needs as well.

Love this place I’ve stayed here a few times and won’t stay anyplace else while I’m in Oceanside. Staff is fantastic. Had an extra charge for the room bar and I don’t drink and it took a right off. Can’t wait to visit next year.

Loved the ocean view from my room! Room was beautiful and clean! Property was in the best location and so beautiful and relaxing!

Great hotel

I am unable to get around without a wheel chair or walker. I knew getting to the beach usually has issues but I can usually get there. Not this time. first theres a very busy street blocking the way, then the only way to get to the beach is going up a very steep driveway which my spoouse had to push me upand once there, you can only go so far I was unable to walk on the beach because there were too many obstacles in the way. we paid for a ocean front room but ( the photos were not realilistic and gave those in my position no way to see the true situation. i did appreciate the chairs and umbrellas and appreciate the help from the young workers. But that doesnt help the frustration I had on this trip. I wont be back
