Perfect location

Beautifully decorated. Rooms are nice and spacious. A little shame that bathroom lacks bench space. Staff are amazing. Great location. Walkable to basically everything

Hotel and service were amazing, however the postioning of our room meant we were kept awake the entire night by music from a night club at the base of the hotel. Music finally stopped at 5am.

+The corner room was amazing. Cannot fault it at all. - However we ended up having to request a baby travel cot 4 times before it arrived. - Ordered room service and after a fault with the in room tablet, it turned up after nearly two hours. -Pool changing rooms were left pretty messy. + Buffet breakfast was really good, also had a drink in Garçon Blue the evening before which was very good. + Location and amenities

e alerted the staff around midnight upon noticing stains on the bedsheet. They promptly sent someone to inspect the issue and recommended that we change rooms for the night. However, later on, another staff member informed us that there were no available rooms to move us to and that there were no housekeeping personnel available at that time. Since they didnt offer to change for us, and we were left with no alternative but to change the bedsheet ourselves in the middle of the night. I had expected better service from Sofitel when I made my booking, and I was quite disappointed after this experience.

Overall a great stay. The hotel is lovely, spacious, and well-located. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby (Peel Street and Leigh Street). Our only issue was with housekeeping, which was not at the standard we would normally see at a Sofitel or similar hotel. We had a range of minor issues over several days eg dirty glasses taken away but no clean glasses provided, empty tissue box not replaced, tea bags not replenished, bed clearly remade with same sheets despite asking for a change etc. After a few days we complained to reception, who obviously passed the message on as we had a very passive aggressive response from housekeeping - lots of extra unnecessary toiletries left in the room, an overstuffed box of tissues left, and a few other petty things, but still no clean wine glasses. We mentioned to reception on check-out who were very apologetic. Will not stop us staying again, but it was bizarre.

everything was great and staff were friendly

There is a lot to like about this hotel. The room was large and well appointed. Breakfast was very good. Staff were generally friendly. However, two issues raise concerns about whether his hotel is committed to client-facing service. The minibar wasn't replenished. The onus is on the guest to order the replenishments through a device but I wasn't able to navigate the process. The bar wasn't open on the Tuesday that I was a there and I consider this to be a 'non-event' for a large hotel.

The Sofitel Adelaide was exceptional. It was the most exquisite hotel room I have ever stayed in. The attention to detail was exemplary. The view from our room was breath taking, the bed was perfect and I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. Details and consideration everywhere you looked - I was super impressed and I am discerning and fussy! A beautiful stay - thank you!

Fabulous hotel, sevice cleanliness and amenities all exceptional. Wonderful buffet breakfast with cold press juices and great coffee!! Would higly recommend and would stay again next time we're in Adelaide

All good but the breakfast service in the club lounge was pretty slow it took 40mins to arrive

Fantastic staff and room, very clean

The property staff and all that was in there was very nice, but quite expensive considering there are other Hotels in Adelaide cheaper and give similar facilities and standards. Staff were excellent particularly a young woman in the restaurant named Mingma

New and modern

The location is so convenient, staffs are very friendly and helpful. Room is clean and comfortable. We are really enjoying our stay in Sofitel Adelaide.
