Great staff, great room very clean and spacious, would definately book here again

Stayed Saturday night. Approx 20 mins to AO Arena. All the staff are so friendly and very helpful. It felt very homely and comfortable. Such a cheerful atmosphere. The carvery looked amazing. The buffet style breakfast was great with everything you could possibly want. Would definitely go again. Thank you everyone at The Boat and Horses.

I recently stayed at Boat and Horse in Manchester and had a rather pleasant experience. Firstly, the room was very comfortable, with a bed that was just the right balance of firm and soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. The room was also kept clean and tidy, and the atmosphere was peaceful without any external noise to disturb my rest. Another positive aspect was the convenience of parking, which was hassle-free. Additionally, the location made getting to Manchester city centre very easy, whether by car or public transport. As for breakfast, they offered a traditional English breakfast, which was quite delightful. If you’re a fan of English breakfasts, you’re bound to enjoy it. In summary, Boat and Horse is a solid choice for accommodation. From the comfortable room and peaceful environment to its convenient location, it provided me with a very enjoyable stay.

Attended a concert at the Coop arena, distance via taxi was perfect. All the staff were very friendly and approachable. The breakfast was excellent with a high selection for veg and non veg. The price of the room for a family of 3 including breakfast was reasonable too. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We used a taxi to get us in/out of Manchester which worked well. We had lunch, the carvery was great value.

The room was quiet , staff very helpful , busy junction as lots of traffic going to costco . We would stay again, food was good and room was spotless .

A very nice pace to stay! Our room was clean and spacious with easy 24/7 check-in. The car park was free and meant our car Wa safe. Breakfast was very plentiful and buffet style: hot English breakfast items, pastries, cereals, yoghurts, toast & fruit plus hot drinks & juices. Easy access from M60.

Great location and great breakfast

Check in was easy, the staff member on the desk was courteous and professional. Our family room was generous in size, clean and functional. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. We were in the area to visit friends. Not sure we would come to the area otherwise as its probably a bit far from the city centre to be used as a base for going in. But, for us, we will definitely book to stay again for our future visits.

It is a nice hotel in the city for a one day lay over before driving out to the country . It also comes with a lovely English breakfast

Clean, easy access

It's a lovely room, very tasteful decor and a super comfortable bed with lovely soft pillows. The location is conveniently placed for my baby niece's baptism that I'm attending tomorrow. I don't have time to explore the area, unfortunately but hope to be back at some point. I would definitely recommend staying here.
