Beautiful place

Pros: absolutely beautiful view, and rooms are lovely. The bar next to the lake is great, as well as the property and amenities. Staff and security are very friendly and attentive to their guests. The location and view of the lake can’t be beat 😍 Also, best ceviche ever ! Cons: parking can be tight but luckily most people don’t drive their own vehicles. The rooms could use more lighting fixtures (for vanity mirror) and electric outlets.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. The first time we stayed at the top area of the property. The Lakefront (lower property area) the rooms are more modern. You walk to the pool and the lake is right there too. The top properties some rooms have an outdoor pool that connects to the back of your room, but you have to drive to the lake . I personally like the pool next to my room, especially on a hot day. The hotel staff are great . My only suggestion is to check the weather. Make sure there isn’t a strong rain storm coming, if so than there is no much you can do around there. I’d still come back to this hotel. Its beautiful staff are great , food is great, and views are great!

The Room was really small and noisy. Transportation between Lakefront and Lakeview too complicated. No fridge in the Room. No towel for pool around pool, had to go back ton réception to get some. Wifi was bad, barely working in the room. Pools are nice but very shallow. Staff is friendly though.

I was at the hotel for two nights. The hotel is beautiful but needs to improve a lot. The pool is for kids I’m 5’8 and the height of the pool was below my knees I was crawling the whole time. Jetski are so expensive 100USD for 45 mins are you serious this is a poor country I feel like the prices need to drop otherwise this is not gonna bring tourists to the area. Las palmeras a resturant 2 mins away from Cardedeu is offering jetski for a cheaper price which i feel is worthy. This place(Cardedeu)in my opinion is boring the max of people you are going to see at this place is probably 10 no more than that. And I paid 389USD and they didn’t even give me breakfast something that other hotels would do. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Nice hotel, just the food at their restaurant is over priced for the quality of food, we got beans eggs and coffee for 4 people and it was 100 dollars

Nice hotel with amazing views. Clean and hotel staff is nice. Getting in and out of the hotel is a pain. Too steep of a driveway. There are a few restaurants around.

We had a great time, service was amazing as well as the view. The infinity pool was so nice during the day and night time. We would defiantly come back.

This is a lovely property in a gorgeous location. I will stay again when I return to El Salvador. My only critique is that the coffee wasn’t very good. Otherwise, excellent stay.

Staff was excellent

This was hands down my favorite hotel in El Salvador. The view was amazing, staff super attentive, great food, lots of activities. This hotel has it all. I want to come back to El Salvador just to stay here!

best hotel in the area. We stayed by the lake and loved it at first sight. The staff was always so friendly and polite. we had breakfast at the bistro by the pool and was delicious. We dine at La Pampa and it was amazing, the view, the food , but most importantly the service by Naftali. We wish we had time to stay longer. Thank you

Super nice area & clean quiet

Upon arrival, was greeted and given room keys - the room was not cleaned yet, very disappointed. The staff immediately moved us to the next room - they gave us complimentary breakfast to make up for the situation. Only sad part was the staff told us the lake was ok to swim in, and many reports the following days that the lake is sick and toxic and should be avoided for swimming. I am worried for my health. Please do your research about Lake Coatepeque before swimming or doing any water sports in it.

The view from the room to the lake was beautiful. The staff was nice and helpful and the food at the restaurant was great. I recommend! Also we were excited to find out that there was a slide at the restaurant next door! So fun!

Absolutely loved the whole experiences

Cardedeu was great. The driveway entrance is a little sudden and could use a bit better signage, but other than that, everything was perfect. They definitely went above and beyond to please us and make sure we had everything we needed. Incredibly relaxing place. Super helpful and friendly staff, most of whom can understand English as well. AC worked great. Would highly recommend.

I love this hotel!!! I would go back to El Salvador just to stay here the weekend! Rooms are great. AC works good! The view is the most beauty thing and everything is very relax and calm. They have several restaurants in the property and the food is great! Prices a little up than the rest of El Salvador but worthy. The staff is great, I needed to get something outside the premises and they found an Uber driver for me to pick it up and deliver. We reserved 1 night and then extended for a second one.you may find breakfast offers if you do it directly with them. It’s worthy given them a call because the average breakfast per person is $12. I would come back here with no hesitation! The o my thing it says that is 11 min drive from Santa Ana volcano but it’s actually 50 minutes drive.

Beautiful scenery and pool but for the price the place need a little more management. The staff was awesome and helpful.

I loved this place, the only complaint I have is the towels…. They only have 2 towels for 4 people, and no hand towel, no pool towels and no hair dryer I have to asked for toilet paper too…for such a fancy hotel… makes no sense that…. When asked why they told me because people stills them…. What I would travel across to still a cheap towel for Cardedeu Lake front

Such an easy trip! My boyfriend and I came to be a part of my best friends wedding. They were so accommodating and helpful. The views are just incredible! And the food was delicious. We had one free day and we easily set up a tour and had an incredible time. When we come back, we will stay here again!
