No complimentary bottled water in the room, and lack of ice being readily available made the drink making process a little inconvenient.
The fridge was full of drinks to purchase, which we had to remove for our food we prepped to bring on the trip.
The lack of bathroom privacy was a bit of an issue too. Would be fine for married people that have been together for 30 years, but not too romantic to be in the living room and seeing someone sitting on the toilet…

Pretty hotel but bathroom set up was very odd. No privacy at all from bedroom area, completely open. Not very comfortable living space.

Booked one night and paid ahead of time. The lady couldn’t figure out how to check me in in 20 minutes later. She finally gave me room keys. Got up to the room and the room keys didn’t work so I had to go back downstairs and get different keys and that happened twice. Then when I was checking out, there was confusion because they thought I was booked for two more nights they said they fix the issue and then of course I got charged for two more nights after I left. Total nightmare to deal with.

Hotel was nice as expected. I wish they would offer coffee in the lobby like I get at a Four Seasons. Instead, I had to wait for the cafe to open for $10 drip coffee or do room service for a $25 cup of coffee. My coffee machine wasn’t working in my room. Other than that, the 1 Hotel is always a nice experience, the rooftop restaurant and bar was great. Make reservations, it books up.

Amazing hotel! The misses was extremely impressed with the level of attention to detail. She was also floored by the plant life. She knew most of the plants and was able to discover new ones.

The room was smallish and the bathroom lacked privacy and was distracting to someone sleeping (turning on lights, etc in a dark room). No shelves or drawers for storage of clothes. Light switches were hard to find and read. The decor was nice.

Unreal experience at 1 Hotel Nashville. The property is incredibly clean, smells fantastic and has the most luxurious vibe. The staff are amazing, so friendly and courteous. The car service was super convenient getting to broadway. The best hotel in Nashville hands down.

I stayed here for one night and the room service was disgusting and inedible. They wanted to charge $150 for microwaved pasta, and a turkey sandwich that was stale and old.
In addition the way the rooms set up was unsafe. The hotel but a throw blanket over a wood post and I ended up breaking my foot. Which the hotel never reached out to me about even though they said they would.
I would never stay here again.

Extremely nice hotel. Great location. Quality furnishings that give to a natural feel. Everything at the hotel is geared toward environmental responsibility. Their restaurant featured farm to table locally sourced offerings that were delicious and prepared with care. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay at 1 Hotel next time we visit.

Hotel one is a nice place to stay in downtown Nashville, conveniently close to Broadway Street and right across from country music Hall of Fame. I recommend the hop on hop off bus tour around the city. You can pick that up right in front of country music Hall of Fame .The rooms are nice. Bed is extremely comfortable. The layout is sort of weird no privacy for toilet and shower and a small closet to put your things. The rooftop bar is cool though Japanese food isn’t my favorite cuisine and the choices in the other restaurant weren’t either. kind of a cool vibe as you walk through the lobby. This place is trying to be different and they have achieved that. I don’t really want to discourage anyone from trying this place out but for us next time we’ll probably be finding a different five star hotel.

The bathroom of this hotel has no walls or doors. There is zero privacy. There is a big mirror on the wall to where you can see everything going on in the bathroom, including the toilet, as your in the bed area. There were no warnings for being child inappropriate. We had our 4 year old with us. My husband was not able to bathe. I literally cried and called Expedia whom would not help. I am still upset. I've posted my experience everywhere I could, in order to help other patrons whom either value their personal privacy or have the misfortune to stay at 1hotel Nashville with a child.

Our only concern was the overall cleanliness of the room for the price point of the room we stayed in. The tub wasn't cleaned and under and around the bed their were preventive sex items left unnoticed.
