Not enough bathrooms, No table in the room

Beautiful views and good cooking facilities. Spa supermarket to provide ingredients and walk up to Stegastein viewpoint from close by.

10 min walk up a busy road without pavement to get there. Shame you can’t walk up the quieter road just because neighbouring property says no trespassing. Not easy to find staff at reception.

I don't recommend this place - however Aurland itself is a lovely little town and the view from the apartments was beautiful. It's convenient to attractions in the area if you can't find anything else.

The building is newly renovated downstairs and well-built but feels unfinished and empty. The 3 communal toilets all ran out of toilet paper and soap around 9pm and there was no way to get more until reception opened the next day at 10am. It was not possible to switch on the lights in the communal living/dining area. The kitchen is in a different building, so you have to carry food/dishes back and forward. Beds were comfortable - you had to make them yourself.

Location with a very nice view on the fjords. Very friendly staff.

Accessing the location on foot can be tricky, as you have to either cross private property, or follow the main road where there is no footpath.

Amazing view of the fjord. We walked from town so it was a bit of a hike up the hill on the main road but worth it.

It would have been helpful to have hooks in the cabin to hang jackets and towels.

Fully equipped kitchen, large fridge. Spotless.

Kitchen closes at 10 PM. Some guests were making noise until nearly 1 AM, and the walls were very thin. Quite pricey for a hostel. No towels provided. You have to make your own bed and strip the sheets at the end of your stay.

Location, nice large space of family house

Aleksya the local staff rep was very rude. She entered the common area of the house without adding for permission then behaved rudely. The staff didn't specify that the shared area of the house was to be entered freely by them. She locked us in then blamed us we locked the door. Then she took utensils from the kitchen and told us she can come whenever she wants.

Very clean! Had everything we needed! Front office lady was extremely helpful and kind. She deserves a raise!

Excellent service at the reception, the smooth check-in, the awesome view from the white house 🏠 the spacious kitchen and living-room.

Amazing location on the fjord, close to Aurland, the Stegastein viewpoint, and hikes. Our room in the building with shared kitchen was comfortable and clean.

We didn’t get towels and we weren’t traveling with any so we weren’t able to shower.

The Hostel cancelled my booking on the day of stay , 10th July , No refund ??? I am still waiting for the refund. No reply by the property despite sending multiple messages.

The view was great

Room and facilities were very basic, feels like the hostel is still starting up. Basic information was missing and required additional clarifications

Very Nice place. The wiev of the mountins and fjord is outstanding.

Google maps gave us wrong way for walking. We went in to a dead end. You should Walk same way as the cars go from Aurland center to Winjum hostel.
