As of early Feb 2023, the property is new. The host send us the entrance code 2 days before the check-in date and had an online video call when we arrived at the property. The beds are comfy. The floor heating is nice. The kitchen came with all necessary equipments. The indoor onsen and sauna is great for the get away. (Luckily, the host was able to fix the hot spring water pump before we arrived)

The cleanliness can be improved. There were stains on the floor and we had to use wet tissue to clean them. The host sent too many emails that it got really confusing. I think it is best to send fewer with only 1 language (either English or Japanese, depending on the guest). Cannot use the navigation map in the car since the road is recently constructed(?). The signs along the way could have been bigger. Driving up the hill to the property is not so hard (we drove Nissan Elegrand) even though the road is pretty narrow (one way) but it can get really difficult and dangerous if the road is not properly cleared. We were lucky that the leaves were off to the side of the road.
