Title says it all, house was perfect, much larger than expected and the backyard was incredible, pictures don’t even do it justice. Easy check in process and the house was very clean, and exactly as listed.

Everything about our stay was perfect from beginning to end! The check-in process was easy and arriving in the house was so welcoming! The hosts went above and beyond with the extra touches of drinks in the fridge to the bathroom baskets and snack baskets to the fully stocked coffee bar. There were 16 of us and we had so much space and enjoyed our stay! We were disappointed that the weather didnt cooperate for us to use the outside oasis. It was absolutely beautiful! We would recommend to anyone!

This house is a great getaway with friends and family

This property was everything I could've dreamt of and more. The space was amazing, the kitchen was great for all of us to make food and gather, we loved having breakfast at the dining table together as a group. The hot tub was fantastic and we would love to come back during the summer to use that pool and slide! The entertainment room was a big hit; lots of games were played and enjoyed. A couple beds were a little squeaky, but there was so much extra space for folks to sleep elsewhere. They had fresh cookies for us before arrival and the listing is 100% accurate. You won't regret your stay here.

The rental was everything we hoped for and more. All the decorations added to the festive holiday gathering of our family!

We loved this home. It was well set up with everything we needed in the kitchen as well as so much space to hangout! One issue to note is that according the the listing there was supposed to be 2 pull out beds but there was none. Luckily our group is very go with the flow and we made do with makeshift beds using couches and cushions. Would definitely return!

Great family getaway

The property meet all of our expectations. Think the pool with the water fall and slide were the high light for the kids. The fruit and snacks upon arrival was a wonderful touch. We would definitely recommend this property.

Once we all got there and looked around, I told everyone that my review was going to be entitled "Bring Nothing". We, as a family, have stayed at VRBO homes all over the East Coast and a few on the West Coast. We have a checklist that we share to bring what we'll all need for the week so that we're not all bringing multiples of everything. Yeah ... No need. Everything was there - from paper goods to condiments to staples to sheets, towels, pool towels, pool toys, games, popcorn for the theatre room, snacks, fruit, water, coffee, shampoos, other bathroom essentials - it was amazing. The company was easy to deal with and communicated well as far as check in, check out and answering questions. The only thing we wished they had, in their otherwise extremely well stocked kitchen, was a 12 cup coffee pot. There is a small 4 cup pot and a Keurig with filters/coffee/pods for both, but so many if us drink coffee in the mornings that we all got really good at making the 4 cup over and over. We had a wonderful time, between the hot tub, the pool, the theatre room and the game room for those that wanted those things and plenty of space to just sit, read, talk, nap for those who didn't. Charles Town is a nice town to walk around and Harper's Ferry is as well with some great Civil War history and wonderful hiking trails that some of us took advantage of several times. We were even able to get to the national aquarium in Baltimore (90 min away) SO worth it Book this one & bring nothing.

The property was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. The pool was fantastic! The house was fantastic! Very well stocked with coffee, fruit, snacks, juices, even cheese and meats. It was a unanimous decision by all that we will go back again next year for a family vacation.

We had a great stay in Charles Town. The house had so many amenities that we never needed to leave over our 3 day stay. We really enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space and theater room. The kitchen was well stocked. The owner was great with communication. We already booked for next summer for a return stay!

We had a great time staying at this wonderful home! There was plenty of things to do inside and outside of the house. The hosts were responsive to what we needed. They provided a lot of basic necessities from the kitchen to the bathrooms.

We had 7 adults and 9 kids and for very comfortably. The house is beautiful. Communication was great! We primarily stayed at the pool all day and cooked at the outdoor kitchen while ch everyone loved. The only thing a little strange is there is a cabin on the property with whom I assume are grounds keepers yet they never introduced themselves we would just see them moving about (feeding fish near pool slide, mowing the lawn, adding water to the pool, etc) definitely not a negative just seemed a little strange. We did spot a mouse and large inspect in the home but property management quickly responded that they would get pest control out. The kids absolutely loved the movie room and Charles town was super cute

This place is phenomenal and just as listed! We had a group of 15 ages ranging from 4-38 and everyone had their own space and comfort! The host was very accommodating and left us lots of surprises and treats upon arrival! The pool was just what the kids needed for a long weekend, as well as, the theater room! This house had anything and everything we could have wanted and needed, that we never left during our stay! I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in Charles Town!

Welcoming, well equipt property that is easy to feel at home in. We had a lot of fun for our family wedding weekend.

Overall the property was very comfortable and instructions were easy to follow. The house has everything you need to have a great time and even came with beverages. The outdoor space was very nice - the lights around the hot tub, pool, and fire place really set a nice atmosphere.

Plenty of space for 4 generations to gather -- and spread out. All done up for the holidays. Stocked coffee bar, and fruit and snacks left for us, were much appreciated. Kitchen had everything we needed in the way of cooking, serving, etc., to make full holiday meal. We all loved the theater room, the real fire place, the ping pong and pool and the huge dining table...so busy, we didn't even get out to the hot tub! (Was REAL cold while we were there.)

Great space, plenty of room for our extended family, and fully done up for the holidays (*two* trees!) It was bitterly cold outside for our days there, so we didn’t even venture out to the hot tub, but we did take full advantage of the real wood burning fire place! Kitchen had everything we needed to make full holiday dinner, and I’ve never rented a house with such bountiful ‘welcome basket’ supplies —right down to a plate of homemade cookies (with ingredients/recipe!) at the coffee station.

This listing ended up exceeding expectations (I'm used to being disappointed as most listings are not as nice than what is presented online). It truly felt like home away from home. Very well-stocked with useful amenities and snacks, such that you don't need to bring essential toiletries for a short stay. Hot tub was clean and nice to relax in. Temperature/hot water was not an issue (there were 12 adults and 9 children in our party). We hope to book this place in the summer to take advantage of the nice pool!

This property was absolutely perfect for what we were looking forward. The house is beautifully decorated and very spacious with many bedrooms and sitting areas. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including a cute coffee station and a large supply of fruits and snacks. The basement has a game room and a theater great for hanging out and watching movies or playing games. It well stocked with so many board games and even a popcorn making machine. The backyard is the crown jewel with a stunning pool with waterfall and slide. There is also a hot tub and fire pit and multiple grills. You could probably spend a week here and find lots of things to do. We came down for a wedding in the area, and we were all so impressed with the place! We had a wonderful time enjoying all the amenities it had to offer. Property management was responsive and helped us make sure a pack n play was available for use and answered our questions, managed our requests.

Wow! Amazing house!!!!! We were so impressed!!!!! My husband & I travel quite a bit, this house is by far one of the best houses we ever rented. The owners have done a great job inside and out. To have a heated outdoor pool that you can use year round is awesome! The whole outdoor ambience will WOW you. You will also be wowed by the inside too. If you have kids they will love the animal room with the hanging bed. One of my favorite rooms was the Theater room, the Over sized beanbag was so comfortable. My husband loved the coffee bar. This was a weekend getaway for our anniversary and it felt like we went to Florida for the weekend. The pictures look great on line but it is even better in person. I highly recommend renting, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you so much for making our anniversary so special! We can’t wait to rent again!!!! Absolutely perfect house!!!!!!!
