We needed a place that was close to the airport and the Matty House was perfect! The owner's daughter was very friendly and helpful! They picked us up from the airport and gave us a ride back. We were traveling south a bit and then returning a few days later and they kindly stored our extra luggage while we were gone. There are various restaurants nearby.
It is a city property and you can hear city noises. If you need lots of quiet it may not be the best spot for you.

We needed a place close to the airport as we were coming in and out a couple of times. The owners let us leave extra bags that we didn't need while we traveled down the coast. That was very helpful. They also picked us up from the airport, drove us to the rental car place and drove us to the airport very early in the morning. It is close to a bunch of places to eat.
Being close to the airport it is a busy location. You are going to have the noises of the city.

They picked me up at the airport, met me with a big and welcoming smile. The room was high standard, close to the airport. They delivered extra service by bringing me to the medical clinic, I felt very taken care of, like family. Recommend highly!

The hospitality for this small homey lodging was superb. Family run, very friendly and highly accommodating. The room was very nicely set up, included Netflix, YouTube, etc., and a very comfortable bed. The best part was how I was treated by the hosts. I would very much stay here again in a heartbeat.
The hot water did not last very long, although I did take a long shower! The neighborhood was a little noisy, but it did quiet down by bedtime.

We loved our stay at Matty House. Brandy was incredibly kind and helpful and made us a lovely breakfast far too early in the morning to be expected cause we had an early flight- it was so nice of her!
As for the place itself, it was lovely. Super close to the airport- a 5 minute drive! The room was very cozy, maybe the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed anywhere in the world, and had an excellent shower and one of the most comfy beds I’ve ever laid in!
Will definitely stay again next time we swing through Lima!
