I had a fantastic stay at Hibiscus - the manager is very helpful and kind, the room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed and aircon, the location is quite quiet away from all the hubbub. Highly recommend.

The breakfast is DIY as far as I could tell

Localisation idéale dans le nord de Dakar. Restaurant, pharmacie et Taxi à côté. Plage des mamelles fermée pour travaux pour l’instant. La résidence est calme, propre et sécurisée . Stephane et quelqu’un de très accueillant, disponible, serviable et de bons conseils. La chambre est spacieuse, propre avec les équipements nécessaires.

Un grand miroir serait idéal pour la chambre. Les rideaux ne sont pas occultant donc pour les personnes ayant le sommeil léger cela peut être problématique avec le lever du soleil. J’en ai informé Stephane qui va faire le nécessaire. Attention aussi mosquée à proximité donc appel à la prière vers 5h du matin. Petit déjeuné peu varié mais suffisant.

Bed was comfortable

The host kept tampering with the water turning it on & off. This place is definitely not child friendly , especially with pushchairs as the big staircase prevents you from being able to move around freely with a pushchair Stephane is very money hungry and doesn’t care for his guests’ well-being. I’m still recovering from a stomach infection , and he did not ask if I’m well nor did he offer to help me in any way. He doesn’t give guests privacy, always patrolling the apartment as if someone is about to steal something. I noticed that he loves to pick on women , but he met his match with me because I don’t tolerate nonsense especially bullying of any kind ! This man is highly unprofessional , didn’t communicate “apartment rules” with me and expected me to magically know everything. I will not be returning to this place.

Stephane, the host, was great! Very friendly, polite and most helpful. The breakfast was quite simple but okay.

The location was difficult to find as there was no signage and house number. The host was advised accordingly.

Wonderful hospitality. Well designed rooms for comfort. Exceptional value.

The place was super clean and easy to find! I came to dakar for the first time in my life and the host was willing to help me with everything. I can reccoment this place to anyone traveling to dakar!
