The property was very well situated. Room was spacious and comfortable. There was ample heating. Our second breakfast experience was good, and a considerable improvement on the first morning.

The property smelt very strongly of cigarettes in numerous locations despite being a non-smoking hotel. On the first morning, we went down at 9 for a 7-10 breakfast and there was very little left. The staff did not interact with us on this morning despite my acknowledging them as we entered. It was not a comparable experience to the rest of the stay.

This is a 3 star hotel and is such it is basic. The rooms are small but …. very clean , the beds are very comfortable and it’s nice and cosy warm. Previous reviews have said it smelled of smoke but that is certainly not the case now. The staff are very helpful and the little restaurant on the side did an amazing steak with a mushroom sauce. The breakfast is limited but plenty , yogurt, boiled eggs , cheese , ham , cereal , bread and croissants. The location is also very good . In a city where the prices are so high for accommodation, I would throughly recommend this hotel as a budget alternative.

It was exceptionally clean and the room was spacious and quiet. The staff were nice. Unless you are Swiss, most people will feel like Geneva is expensive. At just over £200 a night.. this hotel was the only half reasonably priced accommodation we could find. However, it was incredibly basic.

The reception area smelled like cigarettes. It felt like one step up from a hostel. The bathrooms felt like a hospital bathroom in terms of decor. A bit simple and dated. but all was exceptionally clean in the room.

They advertised that the room has air conditioner but it does not have AC at all instead they provided a room cooler which works some time only. We stayed our first night and day without even that room cooler and the owner advised us to open the windows if we need more air.

We stayed three nights there with the noise room cooler which sounds like a Rail engine. We booked a room with a good view ( which they confirmed in the email) but got NO VIEW at all. Our room was facing to other buildings.

old, very old, not maintained, black water from shower first few seconds, a lot of dust under beds, everywhere smell after cigarets and someone smoked over night too and it came to our room from somewhere (maybe ventilation). It shows that owner has no money and will not have if he maintains his property like that.

The hotel was good price-quality choice. The best things about it were staff (very friendly and helpful), the location (10 walk minutes away to the lake and city centre, shops, cafes near the hotel) and the cleanness. Special thank you to the young man at the reception who let us do late check out which was perfect with the baby who could have an extra day nap before the travel. The room was basic, corresponding to the 3 star hotel, the only difficulty we had with the family room was that it was in the attic, and got so much heated during the day, that even with the cooler in the room it was hard to sleep, we lacked air in the room. The rest was good, the breakfast was basic, but had all we needed for the early time of the day as we don’t eat much at that time usually anyways.
