Hotel Kalehan blew us away- the food in their restaurant was some of the best we had in all of Turkey, after multiple high end places in Istanbul. The grounds were gorgeous with tons of flowers everywhere, and a lovely pool. We loved the staff and had a lovely stay. Highly recommend for anyone in the area!

It was very peaceful with a beautiful rose garden and a resident turtle family. Lovely hosts. She very kindly drove us to Ephesus and also arranged our early ride back to the airport.

The hotel is charming with lots of family history. Do not be put off by the location near the main road as the rooms are in a lovely rear garden courtyard. The staff were great and breakfast - excellent local jams and honey- very good and a easy short walk to the centre.

Very charming hotel with nice rooms in an older setting but with all modern comfort. Breakfast was traditional but very good. Staff was super friendly.

Very nice environment but hotel needs maintenance and upgrade. Loved the antiques furniture, very homely and cosy. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Loved the dining area with woodfire place. Breakfast is OK. Location is close by to visit all the sightseeing - Sirince Village, Ephesus archaeological sites. The hotel is ready for temporary closing to do maintenance work. Should be good after the makeover.

Excellent value. Old and atmospheric but with adequate modern touches (e.g. decent bathroom, aircon and a fridge). Friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant walled garden with a pool. Good breakfast, restaurant in evening, we didn't eat there (wish we had as we chose poorly in the town) and bar has wine.

We booked this hotel for it's easy and central location, proximity to Ephesus, and because it looked "original" at a very competitive price. We were very pleasantly surprised by absolutely excellent, personal service, many small touches, an unexpected room upgrade, good advice, swift and tasty dinner, and the fact that the staff specifically laid on breakfast for us long before the normal time because we needed to leave very early.

My only regret is that our stay was so brief. We would have loved to spend longer at the hotel, chat more with the staff, and enjoy facilities like the pool.

The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to be helpful. The decor was quirky and the atmosphere so calming. The breakfast was gorgeous. Thank you Hotel Kalehan for making our stay in Selcuk so nice.

Excellent Turkish breakfast. We loved the fresh fruits and baked goods.

The hotel is charming - an eclectic mix of antiques and collections of pieces acquired by the owner's family. It has a lively garden and pool and is very well maintained. Breakfasts were excellent and evening meals very good.

The evening menu was very good quality and dishes were freshly prepared but there was quite a small range of dishes. Perhaps a little more variation?

At first we were worried as the property is right on a main road, but then you go inside and see the pool and beautiful garden and it’s quite peaceful. Beautiful room with lots of space, great food and breakfast and helpful staff.
