- A walk across the road to the beach - A drive away from all the attractions - Food wasn’t very good - All meals started with delay (one time we had to wait almost an hour to be seated for dinner)

I loved the tree hut style rooms. lots of privacy, and at night it really felt like we were sleeping in the jungle (. and I loved the sounds of frogs and birds (bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper). Clean and beautiful room. The food was good, but nothing extraordinary. The beach was very nice with incredible sunsets. The coffee from the coffee bar is great as well. In the Martini bar most nights a guy plays the piano, a lovely and cozy atmosphere and great to have a drink. We did the Catamaran trip organized by the hotel which we really enjoyed. Finally, thank you to Lorion from the restaurant service. You are wonderful.

The Lotus restaurant which you have to book to us was nothing special, basically food from the buffet served in a fancier way. we also had to wait very long for our food. I also really wish the cocktails and drinks would be prepared properly with fresh ingredients rather than chemical pre mixed sugary syrups and mixers. Also they are served mostly in horrible plastic cups. Finally, the beach beds are uncomfortable and some of them broken. Could do with replacement.

lizards and roaches were in every room we changed too. rooms were not clean good. there was dead roaches, dust and other stuff on floor. definitely need a update on rooms.

Facilities were pretty good and it's a fantastic get away for anyone wanting a very quiet, low key vacation. Quality of the food was pretty good even though the variety isn't very extensive.

Staff could be a bit more accommodating for simple requests such as proving umbrellas during periods of heavy rainfall if guests need to move from their rooms. Additional, the food was not always up to the correct temperature and staff was not always present at the coffee bar.

The breakfast, lunch and dinner was pleased the majority was Jamaican food. The staff were pleasant, helpful and engaged in pleasantly in conversation. The lead manager was exceptional helpful. The rooms, the setting was very much Caribbean, would recommend this place to friends and family. The beach was amazing, and the music in the background made it Jamaica 🇯🇲.

It's without doubt that the lighting in the room was poor, someone with limited eye impairment would have an accident. There appears to be low volume music playing in the background WHY, this is Jamaica give some livlyness. Evening entertainment to be reviewed for example interject soca band, disco,. The client tell very diverse and some differences to be observed

The location was fantastic close to the beach. The huts were designed very unique and private. The staff were extremely friendly and polite. The chef Mr Clark made every visit to restaurant amazing.. the food was authetic Jamaican! He even came out of the kitchen to meet and greet and did us a special chef’s dish. The reception staff very help and professional.

We did have a misunderstanding with one of the room cleaner’s who became very abrupt. We chose to overlook this as all the other experience with the hotel staff was excellent.

A beautiful resort, it felt like a curated jungle with lots of beautiful birds everywhere. The room was nice and big, as was the bed and balcony. The food was better than expected and the facilities were great - the gym was nice, as was the pool (and plenty of towels and drinks available). The private beach was lovely - clean and plenty of space.

Check-in was a little weird - after a really long journey we were excited to go to our room. We handed over our passports and they confirmed booking, but I still then had to find the original booking confirmation, take a screenshot of it, and then email it to them (which involved connecting to the wifi etc). I don't really understand why that step in the process was necessary. Also the taxi they arranged for us to leave by was about twice as expensive as other transport we got while we were there. The room was also a bit dark and could do with a little update.

Wonderful stay and full of the most friendly staff. Lots of variety with evening meals.

That's easy! We only liked the beach and the ocean, but it's hardly the resort's merit.

Awful service, average food for which you need to wait for 2 hours, lacklustre entertainment both in terms of activities and evening performances. If it wasn't for the beautiful nature and people we met there, we would consider this trip to be a total failure! The resort is not on the 1st line, you'll have to cross a busy road to get to resort's designated beach area, which only has like 7 umbrellas, and those would be normally taken by 7am anyway. The same road you can clearly hear from your treehouse from 5am to midnight so although you are like in a forest, there's no feeling of privacy, no glazing (just shutters) for windows only makes it worse. But all those imperfections would be easily dismissed or forgotten was there a decent service and enough staff to provide it. There's not! Staff is either absent or rude (rather from being terribly exhausted). There are 2 restaurants, one of them to be booked and good luck with that, our booking was ignored or missed or whatever - as far as the staff was concerned - nobody cared why. Although, maybe it was for the better as when we finally got there - it was the worse dinner, food-wise, and we regretted that we didn't go to the main restaurant. Speaking of which... well, the food isn't so bad even good at times, if you are lucky to get it served within 2 hours and it's not someone else's and/or not completely cold by then. Maybe only a couple of times we actually got what we ordered in full and in time, the rest of the cases - well, issues, drama, bad mood. Overall, we got it wasn't the staff's fault there was so few of them to serve a fully booked resort, but this understanding didn't make our experience any better, nor it justified quite a steep price we paid for 10 days...

the bungalows were outstanding- just our style. very spacious inside and not very close to others. it’s a gorgeous location with very friendly staff.

the food was so slow at all the restaurants. Excruciating most of the time. I waited well over an hour for Eggs Benedict. Lunch on the beach was 1.5 hours for some jerk chicken which I never eat as we had to leave.

Beautiful environment where the rooms are located. Great food, drink, and staff. Beautiful beach on Bloody Bay - we liked it much better than the seven mile beach. Great martini bar on the resort. Fantastic beach bar called Office of Nature next door that you must visit!!

We like to enjoy some later evenings on the beach and the beach and beach bar closes pretty early and you can’t get back down to it later on like after dinner. Also just a heads up that Jamaica in general is a bit more expensive than we expected..taxis, souvenirs, drinks and food off resort, etc. (Like higher than Canadian prices for all these things - nothing against the resort of course for this - which is why we gave it a 10.0 - just nice to have an FYI :)).
