Brilliant value for money, very comfy bed and excellent location for walking. Toilets were clean and shower was lovely and warm. Over all a very friendly vibe

Only problem was the kettle wasn't working properly but thats an easy fix

For the Lake District it is relatively cheap

The bunk beds were a bit of a wired design which restricted movement

We loved how convenient the location was, the beds were really comfy and the well equipped kitchen was a great bonus.

It would have been helpful to have a drying room and the heating only came on for short periods in the room so in was quite cold at times.

Clean and practical accommodation, and the attached pub was very welcoming with beautiful food. The bedroom was nice and warm, which was great in February.

In the grand scheme of things, everything was very positive; however, if we were to change anything, the A66 was quite noisy.

Great place and location for Blencathra which is just at the back of the property. Kitchen and dining area functional clean and all you need, showers lovely and warm although sharing with some weirdo and noisy inconsiderate person can be a let down although totally out of staff control. Pub lovely and warm with real ale on tap. Good place to stop

Great location

Very noisy when it rains, huts under metal roof. If 6 people in the room it would be very cramped. Window didn't open only ventilation is the door.
