Loved everything about this guest house. Fenny was beyond accommodating and the stay was just really lovely overall. Cute outdoor terrace for evening drink and morning coffee…really comfy bed..and overall pretty quiet considering it’s right in the middle of Barranco.

I liked everything

Fenny (owner of property) is an angel, she was the perfect host..beyond accommodating. This is a beautiful compound, safe and pretty quiet - even though you’re right in the middle of Barranco. I would highly recommend staying here, I made the right choice.

Good location. Owner really nice and friendly.

Uncomfortable beds, spiders. Basic accommodation, old building that suffered from leaking roofs. really dumped place because we were on a ground floor level/ basement. Not a lot of privacy as door could not close properly.

I had a wonderful stay at Casa de Leeuw. The location is ideal, right in the centre of Barranco. Fenny is the most warm and wonderful host, helpful and accommodating. She also makes exceptional apple pie!

This is the perfect location to stay in Barranco! Super nice host! Super quiet but super close to all the best spots! I will come back for sure!

Location, friendly staff, building from the outside (in which you don’t stay), filtered drinkable water access, leaving bags for tours allowed

Too expensive for what you get: small room, no breakfast, cold&wetty room atmosphere. You do not stay in the rooms of the big apartment shown in the pictures! No breakfast option. This is rather an airbnb with „room service“. This is not a traditional hotel. Obviously the owner is not happy with airbnb prices and tries to rent it out via booking.com. You are also asked to leave your shoes outside as soon as you get inside a room. This is not normal for a hotel. I think it’s not fair to be that intransparent in the beginning and also to ask the clients to have more issues with the payment: One cannot pay via VISA or booking.com You have to pay cash—> this is only stated after you book the accommodation The owner asks you per email to pay cash or via bank wire Europe or PayPal which is quite annoying as you choose booking.com in order to save time, to have the comfort of paying by visa and also to avoid extra taxes by bank withdrawal. I asked for these extra costs and all I was told was that booking.com had already given me a discounted price. I really do not see the connection. In summary I did not feel happy with the treatment as a client at all. Still, the owner is nice and tries to help... So shocking that all above mentioned is necessary...
