Entourée par la forêt, la maison est située sur le sol et possède de grandes fenêtres qui lui donnent une vue spectaculaire sur le couvert forestier et le golfe de Nicoya. De grandes chambres et des lits queen-size offrent un grand confort. La maison est assez grande pour une famille mais aussi parfaite pour une escapade romantique en couple. Situé à proximité de la ville mais extrêmement privé, il est idéal comme base pour profiter de toutes les attractions de Monteverdes et constitue en soi une attraction qui permet de se reposer après une journée complète d'activités.

Juste en haut de la rue, il y a plusieurs restaurants, quelques petits supermarchés, des galeries d'art et des magasins de souvenirs. Dans la région, il y a plusieurs attractions telles que des réserves privées, un jardin de papillons, des visites de nuit et autres.

Absolutely loved this property, would highly recommend, amazing views with local wildlife coming to visit. A short drive into Monteverde, and dining options and a small supermarket very close by. Daniela the host was lovely and very helpful.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this slice of heaven! The house is amazing with everything that you might need. The host, Daniela was even more amazing, if that is even possible. Daniela was so easy to work with and communicate with. She was extremely helpful with anything we needed.
The wildlife, view and charm of this house would be hard to beat. We would not hesitate to stay at this house again.

We loved staying here. Daniela was very communicative, and sent great directions, including a very helpful video - without it, we might have still been wandering around the rainforest.
The house is just a few minutes from town but feels like it’s tucked away, and we were able to see plenty of wildlife from the back balcony.
Enough space for all of us, and the washer/dryer was a huge bonus so we could throw in a load of laundry.
Highly recommend staying here if you need a lovely, comfortable place to stay in Monteverde!

We would absolutely stay again at this house. The view was breathtaking, the house was clean, Daniela was so helpful and very responsive. She met us when we checked in and she is just lovely.
It is a bit hard to find but she was so helpful in getting us there that once we found it, we had no issues going in and out.
The house is very roomy and can fit at least 5-6 comfortably.
The back deck is so wonderful in the early morning if you enjoy watching birds and various animals.
Don’t miss out on this property.

The house was great and had everything we needed. We were close to town and had fun observing wildlife from the back deck.

The listing is exactly as pictured and described. The property is nicely secluded but still close to everything. It is easy to get to, yet private. We felt completely safe to walk around the property day and night looking for wildlife. We saw coatis, agoutis, howler and white faced monkeys as well as toucans, hummingbirds, bell birds and mot mots. At night we could watch the lightening from the thunderstorms above the gulf put on an amazing show. The host was a great communicator with the location, meeting us at the house and showing us around and how things worked. She also connected us with an amazing local guide for a night tour. I would stay here again during the green season. Enjoy!

Beautiful house with a great view! You feel out in nature and even the monkeys came right up to the house one afternoon. Nice walking trails and good food nearby. Close to zip lining and the cloud forest.

This property was super unique and really amazing. The view of the Gulf of Nicoya was beautiful. My wife and I stayed there with our 8 and 5 year old daughters. This place was plenty big enough for all of us. It had an awesome balcony that wrapped around the whole house. The house is very secluded, but its not far from great locations. The house was modern with cool wood crafted tables and countertops. The Cloud Forest and the Children's Eternal Rain Forest are short drives. There is also a small grocery store that is close by. We didn't really go into the main part of town for anything. Don Luis, Stella's Bakery and Morpho's restaurant were some of our favorite eateries, that were close by. The host of the property Danielle is wonderful. She communicates with you as much as you need her, and will give you recommendations and can even set you with tour guides. I would highly recommend this place for anyone traveling to Monteverde. I also high recommend Monteverde, for anyone visiting Costa Rica.

My family of 4 stayed for 3 nights. Daniela made us breakfast 2 of the mornings at Abuelo’s Hangout to help us get out the door early for our scheduled activities. One was quite early for a guided hike with George, which she helped arrange. We did 2 hikes with George- can’t say enough other than book it now! Super fun, informative and just a great time. The view from the house is amazing. My tween and teen enjoyed having separate rooms. On our last morning, we were greeted by a family of capuchin monkeys.

This place is nothing short of spectacular. It was perfectly clean, the furnishing are top of the line, the setting is gorgeous, the host Daniella was so helpful and accommodating. We even saw a monkey! I highly recommend this tree house home.

We (2 adults, kids age 8 and 12) stayed in this house. It was very nice and a perfect base for our trip. The home is very well taken care of, with an excellent outdoor space. There were animals close by that gave a great nature feel. The playground/park outside is a lot of fun and very unique. The location is slightly off the path, though we were able to walk easy enough to the store and restaurants.

We loved this house. Perfect big one floor 3 br 2 nice bath.layout. Huge decks. Lovely building details. Beautiful bay view. The house had everything. Very comfy. Please note the driveway gets very steep but we did it in a 2wd low hp suv.

Off the beaten path. Comfortable, newer cabin with everything you need. End of road in the jungle. Highly recommend. We live here in cr and Daniela, the host, was great!!!

Even our 25 year old daughter was amazed with the views from the house. The house itself is also view nice, open and airy yet plenty of privacy. Daniela is a wonderful, attentive host. Recommend the breakfast at Abuela’s Hideout.

I truly felt I was staying in the cloud forest. I loved watching the agouti and coati on the back deck and the clearing down below. Daniella’s instructions were great and the signage getting to the house was very helpful.

Absolutely loved it - one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. The gorgeous wood furniture and the view were the highlights. We saw more wildlife from the balcony than we did at Monteverde or Curi-Cancha! Can’t recommend highly enough.

My family of four stayed here for 2 nights as we explored CR. The view over the gulf is just beautiful! The light from the large windows is so nice c the beds are comfy, there are two bathrooms and washer/dryer, and a small kitchen! I wish we had more time here !

This is amazing house has quite a bit of charm in it's unique craftsmanship. The view is incredible. The beds were a bit hard for most of us but the kitchen was well stocked. Eating around the beautiful handmade table with the view was a dream. Check in and check out were a breeze and it was easy to find. A perfect get away.

I'll never forget the elation I felt when we reached the end of the bumpy gravel driveway and looked out over the forest and saw the Papagayo Gulf. The house looks brand new. High ceilings and floor to ceiling windows to the west create dramatic vistas. The attention to detail given to the construction and furnishing of the house is astonishing. The house is a work of art. Wildlife shows up at unexpected moments. The feeling of privacy is complete but sophisticated restaurans are 5 minutes away. A+ accommodations.

The photos on VRBO did not do justice to this home. We (family of 4 with two grown children in their 20's) loved it. The house looks brand new with amazing hand crafted wood furniture, bookshelves, cabinets, mirrors, sinks, etc. The hand made wooden kitchen/dining table is a work of art. The kitchen is a bit small but adequate - who does a lot of cooking on vacation anyway?
Not long after we arrived a group of 15 or so monkeys swung by the house (actually ran over the roof) on their way elsewhere. They stopped long enough to pose for pictures (an adorable baby too!) The front deck overlooks the cloud forest and we saw birds and mammals go by while we sat on the deck enjoying an afternoon snack.
After several days in Tamarindo, we were nervous about the house not having air conditioning, and realized it didn't need it. In fact we were happy with the extra blankets at night.
This place is a real gem - and we highly recommend it. Don't be too nervous about the rocky dirt road you must drive to get to the house - it is very secluded, and you feel like you are in the cloud forest when you arrive - and yet you are just a minute or two from restaurants and such.
Of the 5 places we stayed in Costa Rica, this was our favorite.

Beautiful handmade furniture however uncomfortable to sit on.
The kitchen is not set up for cooking. It lacks counter space, drawers, cupboards and normal utensils ie kitchen knives for food preparation. For very basic cooking ie frying eggs or warming soup, this kitchen is ok. For all other cooking preparations, it is totally inadequate.
The Property Manager was wonderful to work with. When asked for preparation knives, she was very responsive.

This house is a little quirky but built with so much love and the hosts are so attentive we would go back in a minute. The view is unbelievable and the place is spacious and clean.
I say quirky because there is no seating to relax in...all the chair are straight backed and while gorgeous, there was no place to comfortably relax. But seriously, the charm and character was over the top. Also, this place is ridiculously close to town (Santa Elena) but it feels like a hundred miles away.
