The room was spacious and comfortably accommodate two small families. The common room allow for a good play area for the young kids while the adults slept in. Resort amenities were great. Location is very walkable to the park, restaurants and stores. My only gripe was the communication with the owner was lacking. He was out of the country and was misaligned with the property manager on how to put my name on the room reservation, which created quite a few back and forth communications between the owner and me as well as the property manager and me. Not until the day of check in did the property manager confirmed that I indeed have a reservation at the resort, which created needless stress (keep in mind, this was during the holiday season and vacancies in all of Solvang was really tight). In the end, I got my name on and the rest of the check in process and stay went smoothly.

This property is close to the main shopping area in Solvang and the hotel staff are so warm and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it!
