The only issue I had was my room was next to a mechanical room which was noisy, pool was nice, breakfast offering was extensive.

I don't understand Why they charged my credit card 100 dollars for incidental expenses instead of just having it on file incase there were any such charges.

Pool was great, hot tub was great, really close to downtown Grand Haven. Restaurants all over to choose from.

The bed was clean, but the bathroom had paint peeling off the walls, a rusty mess at the bottom of the toilet and an ancient shower head. Mold on the bottom of the shower curtain and in the grout wasn't pleasant. Not where I want to spend $100 to spend a night. Also, the envelope begging a tip for the cleaning staff was tacky.

Our stay was met with a lobby full of adults and children for a Halloween Party. This was a special event the hotel ran. We had no idea about this when we booked our room as part of our anniversary. We were hoping for a quiet and restful stay. There were too many to enjoy the pool and hot tub and children crying and running in the hall impacted enjoying the hotel. Our room was okay the breakfast was great and enjoyed the decorations by the breakfast hostess.

We ended up not staying because of the women behind the desk, after her very rude demour from the start, ended up calling me and idiot & she kept shrugging her shoulders at me with full on attitude and then crossed her arms and said oh well not my problem. I even told her mam I think that we are not understanding each other and she continued to say no your an idiot and I'm explaining myself just fine. After trying to get a refund from hotels.Com as well as BayMount I was denied FROM THE WOMEN THAT CAUSED IT all. Not sure how that makes sense to ask the person that acted in such a manner to refund the customer that didn't end up staying because of the way she was speaking and acting. I normally never have an issue with this hotel. This women was horrible and I will never stay again. Nor use hotels. Com due to the lack of help in getting my money back for a stay that didn't happen.

The hotel was not good. Hot tub was ice cold, bathrooms were very small and tight. They didn’t clean our room at all. The bed was very hard to sleep on, it felt like you were sleeping on a rock. Every morning when we got up our backs hurt. Would not stay there again.

Dated and dirty building. Manager and front desk personnel were rude. Drain was clogged in sink, had an odor. Door did not close tightly to room unless slammed. Cleaning staff left cart and vacuum directly outside our door, making it difficult to get luggage through doorway.

Good value for the price. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was nice as well-loved the pancake machine.

Stay was great! Had to switch hotels because our previous one had roaches and cops searching a room. Baymont in South Haven was very helpful and accommodating to our situation! Will definitely be back!

Excellent all-around choice in grand Haven, Michigan for the price. Pet friendly was a huge bonus. Pool and hot tub area was a perfect way to relax at the end of a busy day in town. I would highly recommend.

We had a great stay! Our only complaint is that the hot tub temperature was pretty low, and would love if breakfast lasted a little longer! Otherwise was very comfortable and clean and not too far from what we wanted to do.

When we pulled back the blanket it was clear the linens had not been changed due to obvious dried blood stains. The desk never answered the phone and housekeeping was unavailable. The night staff member has to come and change all of the linens.

The hotel was good, my only complaint was the place was a little scrubby. I think the cleaning staff was doing a good job, but the carpets looks old and stained and the windows were really filthy.

The hotel was a great value for the cost. We stayed on a Sunday night so it was a cheaper night. Room and hotel was very clean. Breakfast was a good variety. Would definitely stay here again on next visit.

Beds were comfortable. Pillows were lumpy. Facility was generally clean. Exterior was in need of maintenance (weeds in patio near pool, shower room was poorly renovated).
Staff was friendly but not open to ideas on how to improve (ie. deposit acknowledgement received from Expedia but NOT processed by Baymont -causing a waste of time for both parties and a customer unfriendly situation)

The jacuzzi was broken, we always look forward to relaxing in there at the end of the day. Very disappointed, we always make sure hotels we use have the amenity

Housekeeping poor service, bathroom dirty and smelly. Carpet very dirty you feet with turn black have to use your flip flops in the room the whole time

We spent eight nights at the Baymont in Grand Haven, Michigan. It was quiet and convenient. The staff was respectful and kind and the free breakfast was good. There was always coffee, tea and hot chocolate available in the lobby. The pool and hot tub were fabulous, even though the hot tub was out of order for the last 4 days we were there. The Baymont is a fine place to stay.

Good hot tub/pool. Variety at breakfast. Staff was very nice and helpful. Bathroom was super tiny and shower curtain didn't keep water in tub area. Caused a slippery floor unsafe for our disabled daughter. Also'the tiniest pillows ever. But it was a decent stay.

The front desk person was rude. Scant amenities & no room turnover unless 3 day stay so fresh towels, coffee, etc. require a trip to desk. Tub, sink, & floors were dirty with mold & mildew. The room is in dire need of an upgrade. No hot breakfast. For the price I paid ($250/night) I expected a bit more.
