the staff were great. the hotel not so much. Old and tired, with elevator out of service. The room was average. the common areas much below average.

Broken elevators, parking not super convenient, beds uncomfortable. Only plus is proximity to Tacoma Dome for event.

Really convenient place to stay when going to an event at the Tacoma Dome. Literally across the parking lot from the dome entrance. The property seemed fine and we did not have any safety concerns. The price matches the quality. There was a pair of someone’s left over socks in our room in a drawer and a piece of hair in a different drawer?? but linens seemed clean. They do have those weird little pillows that hotels do sometimes but the bed was good enough. Will stay again.

Elevator was out, which was fine but after getting to the 5th floor the room was dirty. There was empty beer can and full 2 liter of soda under the skirt of the bed. Hair in the bathroom floor, sink in bathroom was clogged. The tv had no signal/seecixe

The computers were down and I was told after spending 40 min in line that I would have to re-wait in line cause my room wasn't ready 1.5 hours after it was supposed to be... room was dirty and had stains on the chair and wall... now.. the only perk was the walk to the tacoma dome... it was worth it for that alone.. and the downsides were many

No elevators and stairwells smelled like a sewer

The front office personnel was excellent, great breakfast as well

It was super affordable! HOWEVER, Definitely gives off the spooky haunted hotel vibes. I’m giving the benefit of the doubt that they did have renovations going on at the time. Just super eerie due to elevators being down and having to take a sketchy staircase to our room then having half of the electricity out in there. The employees were SUPER sweet and supportive! Completely understanding as well!

I have stayed at this hotel dozens of times over the years and I kept returning due to the friendly custom service, clean rooms, and affordable rates. Unfortunately this time I was let down. The 1st room I was offered had the wall vent cover on the floor (immediately as you walk in causing me to trip) I replaced it into the wall and went about my evening, not a huge deal. Next I tried to turn on the lights on the console between the beds, there was no power to the lights, the outlets or the usb charging ports on that wall. At this point I went to the front desk and the person working that night was great. They immediately switched me to another room with working amenities. This room was smaller than the one I was in originally (I’m not sure if there was a difference in rates between the rooms and was never addressed) The first night went fine after that. The next morning I went to use the in room coffee maker only to find a weird insect where the coffee pod goes. I used a piece of TP to gently dispatch the bug for identification before taking a shower, within minutes the bathtub was filling at my feet, not draining at all. In addition to a dirty toilet, I was not happy .I then took my weird bug and returned to the front desk where I was met with an older employee who seemed curious by the bug but not concerned. I told them where the bug was found and also let them know about the clogged drain in the shower. Nothing was done about it, not even a replacement coffee pot.

Food was good. Area around the hotel wasn't very safe. One elevator was broken. Staff very helpful.

Check in was great. Room was chilly, I turned thermostat up to 80, nothing. No hair dryer. Breakfast was ok, liked the waffle and juice.

First, the included breakfast was really good. The room was nice and the price was good.
The bad, the coffee pot was missing the carafe and basket. I called and asked for a replacement. They never came. Next, the vending machines are a disaster! It did not dispense the items until the 4th try and by then it had rung up $35 in imaginary charges. Had to complain to credit card company causing my card to be shut down and a new one to be sent to me. Oh well.

We went for the P!NK concert since it is next to the tacoma dome we walked over. However when we arrived the computers were down and it was a 30ish minute wait in line. They only had one elevator that worked. Booked a room with 2 beds and ended up with just one full size.

Arrived at hotel, front desk woman was very nice and accommodating. Check in was very fast.

This was the worst experience ever and the rooms were filthy and the hotel was a mess one elevator and one fire exit waited 3 1/2 hours for our room to be cleaned and then when we were given the keys there were still people in the room and it still was not clean the beds were something out of a horror movie ! I would not recommend this place and they were not sorry about anything! I think their policy on line said they were supposed to take care of you if the fail to accommodate you and they have not even returned my payment!

The parking is in a locked garage which is safe, but not convenient.

Under construction. No bar or restaurant. Our bathtub was so clogged that when we showered it filled up and was gross. Many doors to enter building were broken so we had to walk around from extra parking lot every time. But it was so close to the Tacoma Dome we didn’t have to park or try to get a Lyft for a concert. That’s only upside. Still not worth $450 for a small bed for two.

The only reason I chose this hotel was that it was close to the Tacoma dome where I was seeing a concert. However, I was the poor unfortunate soul who ended up in a room with the window near the sign and the light blaring in my room. Imagine my surprise when I came back to my room after an amazing concert to what I assume to be daylight outside (it was 11 pm so not actual daylight). The curtains did very little to block out the light. Would not stay here again unless it is for another show.

The room had a pervasive smell of urine, there were obvious stains of sem** on the bed, it was a full size bed and not a queen, and I paid for a Queen size. The room was filthy, there is no bathroom counter and the refrigerator didn’t work. Food was still in the microwave. We left and didn’t the night, and they still charged us for the full amount.

The only good thing about this hotel is it’s proximity to the Tacoma Dome if you’re going to see a show-it’s right across the parking lot. Other than that this place is in need of a major renovation! First off the elevator wouldn’t come to the B parking level-luckily someone came down or I’d have had to walk all the way around the hotel and up a hill to get to the front door. Oh and the second elevator didn’t work. The bar/restaurant is closed til next year. The loveseat in my room was so worn when you sat on it it almost went to the floor!

A lot of transients and construction - but building is secure and safe

Facility needs a little bit of upgrade, but the convenience of being right next To the Tacoma Dome can’t be beat. bed was a bit hard. Staff was great.
8.0 / 10.0
The staff was very nice. Getting around between stairwells and elevators was rough as there are only 2 elevators and one was down. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable.
4.0 / 10.0
Pro: Front desk staff friendly and underground, gated parking. Good water pressure. Close to the Tacoma Dome.
Cons: This is a dingy, run down, and old hotel in a sketchy area of town. DO NOT WALK ANYWHERE. Close to a railroad so be ready for train horns. The bed has decorative small pillows. The TV didn’t work. Most of the lights and outlets didn’t work. The ‘breakfast’ looked unpleasant so didn’t eat any of it. Only had one elevator working which isn’t great being on the 6th floor. Not sure if it was mold on the walls or just paint pealing.
I wanted to leave the minute we got to our room but being late and a holiday weekend, we had limited options. We should’ve stayed in Seattle but had been traveling all day.

We had a quick overnight in between visiting the Tacoma Museum of Glass and hiking Olympic National Park. Check-in and parking were easy, and the staff were nice. Our room was as advertised and we had a restful night's sleep. No complaints on that front! Everything was very clean and there were plenty of linens. We didn't go down for the breakfast in a bag, but upon checkout, the front desk was nice enough to score us a couple of hard boiled eggs for the road. Sweet!

The room had stains on the floor, had an off smell, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the environment in halls and outside was not welcoming or a comfortable feeling. Breakfast was very basic and breakfast sandwiches were not fully cooked.
2.0 / 10.0
Room had left over pad in the bathroom trash, the plug was hanging out of the wall and I couldn’t charge my phone, and there was food in the microwave that wasn’t ours

NOT WORTH IT. I stayed for convenience and price and regret it. First, check in was fine, but they didnt tell me anything about where parking was, and the only sign for parking pointed to the main garage, but after driving around the block, i found another garage entrance AND a parking lot. Wouldve been nice to know. Then, the elevators were so slow and had a max of 8 people, and by the time i went to check out in the morning, there was a line of about 12 people waiting for the elevator. I asked where the stairs were to basement parking, and they said they dont have stairs, the only way to get down there is the elevator. Turned out that the management didnt have a sign on ANY floor except the lobby that one elevator was out of service. Also, breakfast was bad. I ended up eating a hard boiled egg and a prepackaged muffin before going to a gas station for a sandwich. I was at breakfast for a half hour and they never brough sausage or scrambled eggs, even though the pans were warmed. Honestly, the elevator and parking situation were enough to piss me off as i was trying to check out and get to a meeting down the street, but couldnt because the elevatora were backed up! Do not stay here.
