Excellent, pure, clean room. The kitchen, bathroom, closets, living room spacious. Plenty of coffee, floors excellent, clean sliding glass window. I just enjoyed my short stay and can't wait until my next trip. Even the elevator waa clean.

The stay was ok. The room is ok but it was not clean. The age of the hotel shows in the room.

Do not stay here if you want peace and quiet or to sleep in. Hotel employees loud in the common ways banging things and hollering back and forth to each other. Bars on either side of the place and VERY loud well into the night. Wanted to enjoy a warm shower after a day in the cool ocean and heavy winds and no hot water. No WiFi as promised. But…it was clean, bed was comfortable, and staff was friendly. I live relatively close and stayed two nights to avoid an early morning and a late night drive. Should’ve saved my $$

The hotel is dated but pretty clean overall for an old building. Fantastic views and the staff were all extremely nice and welcoming. Late night check in was a bit of a pain because of having to go to the holiday inn office nearby, however they were pleasant as well. So get there before the marina office closes if you can.

Blinds did not have enough slats to completely cover the window in down position. To have privacy had to block window with chairs a suitcase.

We stayed 2 night, the room was convenient, but nothing special.

Everything was great. I love the place, very nice and quiet. I highly recommend it.

Easy access to restaurants, room was nice had amazing view of the channel parking wasnt always easy do to not enough spots but overall was a great time

Bed was comfortable. View was pretty. No hot water first morning. Doors were black and needed cleaning otherwise room seemed clean but in need of updating. Nite manager second night seemed rude saying they advertise as an economy hotel when we asked if water was taken care of. The problems were taken care of for last night

Property is beautiful. Room need some minor updates but everything works and is more then suffient. Resturants and bars are right next door.Would definitely stay here again.

The most l like their bay view next to marine

The staff & service was great - very helpful. The room was clean & comfortable. We were disappointed that the jacuzzi tub jets didn't work & couldn't quite figure out the jacuzzi downstairs (it got hot but jets also didn't work). But overall, very pleasant. It was cool to hang out & have the live music next door.

Favorite spot in key largo!

The staff at this hotel is amazing. Thank you to Gabe and the amazing young lady at the front desk in the AM. They did everything to want me to come back. More bookings coming soon. Perfect if you are in town for a dive charter.

Very Key's vibe..

I was only in town for a Sprint Triathlon and this was a quick an easy booking in a great location. Food and drink location that are in walkable distance. Other than the elevators being hot everything was great for the price.

Beautiful view of marina.

All of the staff members that I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The property was well-maintained and clean. The room was significantly bigger than I had anticipated. The only downside was how soft the bed was it was terrible.

Very friendly staff. Asked for a 2 bedroom suite, but got a one bedroom suite, & one bedroom room instead. Supposed to connect via a door, nope - no connecting door. One bedroom suite was partially unfinished and looked very unattractive. The TV in the living room was sitting on a flat board on top of a sliding drawer that was a chest of drawers. Mismatched tile, unfinished woodwork, very poor lighting in the kitchen, could not see to play cards at night, it was so dark. Lots of construction renovation being done, with old bathroom cabinets & vanities outside in the parking area. Very untidy. Bed was comfortable. Nice pillows. Nice walk in closet & large dresser for clothes. Lots of room in the bathroom sink area. The shower had a poor curtain & would always let water seep into one corner of the floor & was eating away at the paint & caulk in that corner.

We loved our stay here! Nice clean and spacious room, comfortable beds. Wonderful location, quiet and directly on the water. Simple but nice complimentary breakfast on the patio, good coffee, we didn’t need more and enjoyed it. Nice large pool area. Good restaurants nearby, also shops. We very much liked the offer to also use the pool area of the adjacent Holiday Inn. When we had a problem with our rental car, Abby from the reception desk was extremely friendly and eager to help us. Thank you! Will live to come again!

Beautiful and friendly place

Yes I made reservations for Gilbert’s hotel in key largo and when I got there I felt like an idiot. I looked at my email and EXPEDIA booked me for a complete different place. So I go to that place 30 minutes out of my way to find out it’s the wrong place. (Again). Found out it was another place that was close by. So when I got there the hotel had a hard time getting my reservation pulled up. When I said EXPEDIA made the reservation they seemed to of have had a better concept of the situation as when you book through EXPEDIA you will always have problems. Boy were they right on. Never again will I use EXPEDIA. Now I’m off to share to other websites my experience.

Great resort and CS specially Abby at the Lobby

Only complaint was the hot tubs at both places were cold. Needed a bit of a hot spot for sore muscles.
