Would stay again

Great weekend getaway. Rooms and facilities are clean and comfortable. Pool was nice. Easy walk to the public beach. Great dining and shopping nearby.

Everything was easy to get to. Many options to go out to eat. Beach was closed walking distance. The only thing I would approve is the bed. They are hard as a rock

The hotel’s location is excellent, close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping malls. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the nearest public beach, which has a clean shore and clear water. However, the cleanliness of the rooms was disappointing. Our room had a strong odor of dog urine, and there were visible stains on the carpet. Allowing pets in the rooms without ensuring thorough cleaning is not a good practice. Additionally, one of the queen beds was uneven, making it uncomfortable. I traveled with my wife and child, and we ultimately decided not to stay at this hotel due to the lack of cleanliness.

Good hotel near several restaurants and things to do (go carts, mini golf, etc.). Staff was friendly. Overall good experience.

This hotel.was in a great spot, close to lots of things, we walked to The Track, the beach, The Back Porch, even walked to Big Kahuna ! , close to Walmart, too ( for supplies ). .. Room.was.nice with partial gulf view, But I wish there was more storage room.for.clothes. ex. More drawers or cabinets for clothes.. basically left clothes in suitcases the whole.week. Breakfast was just OK, there was no bacon , no fruit other than occasional apple, , but overall it was just.good enough to bring us back. We definitely want to return and we would come back.to.this hotel !

Pros: 5 minute walk to the beach; nice gift shop close by; amusement park across the street; super cold A/C in the room; cold refrigerator; nearby restaurants; nice pool Cons: VERY unfriendly/unhelpful front desk staff (couldn't be bothered from looking away from personal mobile phones); all trash bins in the pool area packed full with trash and never emptied during our 4 night stay; dirty carpets throughout the common areas; mediocre breakfast- unclean breakfast area; very small 'public' beach access; ice machine broken entire 4 days during our stay; no pool towels available 2 days; dirty bedding upon arrival (asked for bedding to be changed); hair in the shower area upon arrival; housekeeping staff spoke absolutely NO English; phone to front desk wouldn't dial through ('unavailable at this time'); pool area littered with cigarette butts/trash; NOT up to Hilton standards for sure

We were there a week and only had housekeeping 1 time. Wish they cleaned the room at least every other day with clean towels and beds made. The front desk clerk was a little rude when checking in and there was not anyone there when we checked out.

The property was very nice close to the beach with a partial view from the window The kids are very happy that all the amenities

Room had sink and tub backing up.. no toilet paper.. no towels..no shampoo.. Housekeeping every other day.. front desk promised to fix the next day.. never did. Instead moved us to another room. That room was not cleaned.. old soap in shower and a large stained pillow on the bed. Front desk could care less. Excuse after excuse. Much better hotels in the area. Don’t be fooled. Same old breakfast.. got old quick.

Every was excellent

Hallway carpets are filthy. Cleaning staff did not visit our room once while we were there to freshen it up or leave clean towels or make the bed, etc. Our trash cans were not emptied. Most hotels for the same price have a custodial staff on the floors at all hours during the workday.

It right across the street from the beach 5 mins from a bunch of food,games,chain stores pretty much the perfect spot

I called to notify the hotel that I am arriving late (my flight delayed) it took them a while to find my reservation. They said because the reservation through the third party, was hard to find my reservation then they connected me to the Hilton points membership although I told him I have accounts and it was really loud inside the plane I barely could hear the rep, but they still connected with sales associate

This is our 5th time staying at this hotel and by far the worst. The front staff was rude (mainly one lady with the long braids think her name was Devan) she acted like we were bothering her when asking about our room then proceeded to slam papers down in front of me and poorly explained the details of our stay. The room was hot, refrigerator didn’t work, couldn’t get the tv to work the entire week and maintenance was a joke. The location of this hotel is great and is why we always book here but the rooms could use some updating.

Diana was the only helpful person. Manager wouldn’t let us cancel our refundable room. We had to upgrade. Front desk was sitting in chair way back and extremely unhappy with her job. We tried being forgiving due to IT issues but she was not friendly. Dirty towels were left in room. Way too expensive for less than 24 hours for what we got. Also no blankets or sheets for couch. We are usually understanding in situations like this but the manager never called back after four attempts to call and cancel and then we get there and everything was horrible.

The rooms were dirty I had to call and request someone to come and change my bedding smelled and something on it. Drawers had crumbs and sand in them had to request to come clean them out. Pool area chairs and lounge chairs dirty. Awful

Limited beach access, didn’t receive any room cleanings for the whole 4 days we were there. Had to go get own towels. Not convenient for walking any dogs. Pool was full of sand. Bed was about 15 years old. Very uncomfortable. None of the curtains worked. Was supposed to be charged $1200.00 ended up being charged $1600.00. Carpets are very stained. Smells extremely old in the room.

It was walking distance to the beach, to the Back Porch and arcade/track for the kids and the pool is nice. On the other hand it’s an old hotel, wasn’t very clean and the room smelled like humid. It was pricey for the place.

I liked that it is tidy and clean

The beds were very uncomfortable and the sink was clogged very slow to drain, and the elevators are very slow and our last day elevator B was broken. The staff was very nice BUT the building is terrible. Even the carpet throughout the building was filthy and needs to be replaced.

Went on a 2 week family vacation all around Florida, and this has to be one the most disappointing stay of the entire trip. Paid $350 for a single night, but wanted the family to have the best experience possible in Destin.

Loved the hotel! The kids enjoyed every min of the pool very laid back and great service with Breakfast included

This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed in, refrigerator didn’t work in our room, phone didn’t work and ice machine was broken on our floor and the other ones were out of ice. The beds were terrible and couldn’t get WiFi to connect. Way overpriced for that dump.

The sink didn’t drain in the BATHROOM, the air conditioner sounded like a washer going all night, no room clean, only once. Beds were comfortable. The ice machine on our floor was out of order. Just mediocre stay.
