The heat in my room did not work. I arrived at 3 am, exhausted. Did all that was needed to turn up the heat, and by actual measurement when I awoke the room was at 61 degrees. The clerk told me she would notify whoever, and didn't even offer a word of sympathy.

On the far north end of Romulus airports, breakfast wasn’t too impressive and there were bed bugs. Bathroom was clean though. Shuttle only comes if you call for pickup from the airport. Room service thought I left and came knocking on the door when they thought I checked out. 3/10 overall

My wife and I had separate flights back from a trip and hers arrived six hours later than me. I decided to find an inexpensive hotel close to the airport where I could do some work while I waited.
The only good thing I can say about Americas Best Value in Romulus is that it was inexpensive. It felt very shady. I did manage to get a shower in, but the water was cold.
When I tried to use the internet, only one of their nodes worked and that one was so slow and disconnected so frequently that it was useless. I should have saved my money and waited at the airport, where at least they have reliable internet.

Just not much you can do about air traffic but someone booking needs to know flights were directly over the property and pretty low at this location

Will definitely stay here again! The only complaint I had was our room smelled like cigarette smoke, but other than that it was a pleasant stay!!

We stayed at the America's Best Value Inn in Romulus when we flew out of and back into Detroit for a vacation. They were very polite and informative, and even helped us save a bunch of money on parking at the airport by telling us about their secured lot. They have a round-the-clock shuttle service that takes you to and picks you up from the airport; you just have to let them know when. The room itself was like a mini house without a kitchen. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet, despite being so close to the airport, and parking was just a few steps from the front door. If I need to do a night or early morning flight out of Detroit again, I would definitely use them again.

Comfortable bed, room was clean. Toilet flush was slow, sometimes had to flush twice, and shower control hard to use at first. Breakfast options were limited, but fresh.

The staff were very helpful, efficient and courteous. We stayed at the inn in Romulus because it was close to the airport for a very early morning flight. Free shuttle to Detroit airport. Very reasonably priced. Excellent value for the convenience.

Good: Friendly staff. Our fridge was not working and the receptionist sent maintenance and they put a new fridge in the room, and did not take long.
Also we did not use it but we noticed they offer airport transfer...
Bad: In our opinion: they should say they have a light breakfast,cause they only have coffee, juice, cereal, toast bagel and muffins, to say you have breakfast we think you should add: boiled eggs, sausages, yogurt, fruit cups and fresh fruit...
The mouldy: as you can see on the pics there was mould around the bathtub lever and in the shower curtain...

The establishment looked clean upon further inspection bugs on the walls bugs on the floor hair is in the bed although nicely made staff was very nice. Breakfast was at a minimal for two days reasonable.

First time in Michigan and this was a great place to stay. Staff was super friendly, free shuttle from the airport, and the room was pretty nice too. Not too much money either.

For a one night stay, it was okay. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, but the wifi did not work at all in the room we were in. Also the bulbs in the lamps were just sort of hanging out of their sockets, but still worked. It's not a bad stay if you are only needing one or two nights, but if you are planning an extended stay and need space, I would suggest finding somewhere else to stay.
The area around the motel seems kind of sketch, and most of the dining options were closed or closing by the time we got in (9 pm). If you are a light sleeper, I highly suggest bringing ear plugs because the planes overhead are loud.

Dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Greasy spots on the bed covers, hair in and around the sink, moldy bathtub, grease spots on the table and bathroom door. And other stuff I can’t even remember

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower had great pressure and lots of hot water. I would recommend for a night’s stay.

The only complaint I have about this hotel is the misleading information about "Free Parking". I made reservations for the night before my flight and on the night of my return with the understanding my vehicle could stay in the parking lot during my trip. However, the clerk informed me upon check-in that the "Free Parking" only applies to the nights I was staying at the hotel. NOT during my trip. I had come up with another $50.
