Service here is excellent. Rooms are above average and very clean. Location is outstanding. You can walk to everything you want downtown. Campus is a very short drive.

This property is dated and it shows. I stayed in a poolside room that was pretty worked over. Also loud when people were using the pool. The window overlooked the parking lot from ground level. Shower stall was cramped and yellowed. No power ports available for charging , had to unplug the alarm clock to access one. Decent downtown location earned 3-star rating, not the hotel property itself.

Our experience at this hotel was good. The elevator seemed a bit sketchy so we just stuck to using the stairs, not a deal breaker but something worth noting.

Booked online and when I got there another associate booked my room. Gave me another room that was on pool side. Unfortunately pool is indoors so the room is totally dark all the time. Looks like nighttime no matter what time of day. Staff should have let us know this before asking whether changing rooms was ok. Very depressing. Glad only booked 1 night.

The reservation I thought I had made was nonexistent..pretty sure that was my fault. Mo at.the front desk checked with the other Best Western in town to make sure I didn't accidentally make the reservation there and then waited patiently while I booked their last room through Hotels.com so I could use my rewards $. My room was clean and very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that they didn't offer a bin for recycling. I stay at this hotel whenever I am in town. Always a pleasant stay.

The hotel was older but you could tell they were trying to make updates. The bathroom vanity and vanity lighting was newer, shower pressure was great, however, the bathroom door was unable to be locked. Hotel was close to everything, very walkable to shops and close to Lake Superior! The restaurant inside had delicious breakfast! It was pretty clean for the age, you could tell dogs had been in the room(we didn’t mind) and some of the lamps could have been dusted but overall it was pretty good. My favorite part was the giant lamp!

The hotel is older, but you could only tell in a few areas. The hotel is super convient to downtown and the university. The air conditioner/heater in the room was super quiet which was awesome! We were a little unsure of the elevator. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely stay there again.

The Hotel needs updating. The bed was horrible. The previous person who stayed in the room got sick and threw up on the carpet. The cleaning person did not do a very good job, there were chunks still in the carpet. I didn't even want to give the 1 star for cleanliness.

We rented a suite for a birthday/pool party and the room was nice, very big and plenty of seating. The pool was a bit rowdy and chaotic but it was still a good time. Staff were very polite and attentive.

Everything was perfect and the place was very nice except for the morning when staff was knocking on all doors for checkouts at 9 AM. I’ve never had that happen before I felt rushed.

The hotel was very nice, the elevator smelled funny at first when we used it. The rooms were okay not the best. Could be updated in the future. But was good for a night to sleep. The pool was amazing though! Kids loved it.

Location is perfect if you want to do a walking tour of downtown and explore the shops, restaurants and nightlife.

Clean room and comfortable beds. No elevator to 2nd floor, which was not a problem for us, but could be difficult for someone with limited mobility. Our room overlooked the pool, which was nice, but got rather noisy into the evening. The noise did stop around 10:30 and we were able to sleep well afterward.

It's not the newest hotel or the fanciest hotel in Marquette but it certainly checks all the boxes for whatever it is you need. Restaurant, check, Bar, Check, Pool, check, Hot Tub, check, walking distance of just about everything in Marquette, mostly check.
