Air conditioner can not be adjusted, rooms are hot. Door knobs and keys are old. Room lighting is poor. Not enough outlets in the room. Rooms need to be remodeled and updated. Staff is friendly. Swimming pool area was nice. Food was good.

It’s a dated hotel, but it’s charming. The food is excellent. Truly authentic Mexican food and had several different options everyday. My kids, 8, 11 and 16 lived their food, but they eat Mexican food anyways. Maybe they should incorporate quesadillas and chicken nuggets for kids that don’t eat much Mexican food. I wish it was beach front, but you can walk about 10 minutes to the beach. It is not so nice at the area of the beach, but it’s ok… our toilet wouldn’t flush properly and we called but it wasn’t fixed. We would literally have to crank it for it to flush. The pool is nice, the snack bar is good and the drinks were great. Overall good experience.

The hotel has the hacienda theme and is not very big - a plus for me, but may not be for everyone. The staff is friendly and helpful but waiters are very slow and don't seem to be overly busy. Several times I got up myself to pour myself a coffee refill or to gran a set of utensils from their stations. Breakfast was fine, but still if you're no an egg eater you may find it challenging. Dinner buffet was worst I've seen at any resort. Very few choices, food was not looking or tasting well, looked old and dried up from being heated for hours. Pizza was so dried up that it looked like it was there for days, which I am sure was not the case. I would still visit but if the price was right and I would only get the breakfast option and skip the all inclusive.

we (a couple) loved our stay! the rooms were very clean and comfortable with great AC, the beach was a short walk away (there was also a shuttle to and from the beach), open bar at the beach was great, the hotel is right next to the port and the supermarket, and all of the staff were extremely welcoming and kind. The buffet was so good and had a great variety! While traditional mexican cuisine was the highlight, they also had an asian food night and a night where they grilled up some nopal, meats, and veggies! We would absolutely return. One downside was the timeshare guy that held us up for a while when we first arrived, we had to repeatedly say we weren’t interested for him back off about it.

This was my 1st trip to PV and this was a good choice for the price. I really did not know what to expect but it definitely exceeded expectation. Enjoyed the Friday night cultural presentation at the lobby. Family friendly hotel. I would say definitely a Mexican Charm. Buffet was very good and main dishes changed everyday I was there. Walmart is just walking distance away. Bus stop is also close by and very convenient to take a bus down to the Romantic Zone and the airport. Bus fare is only 10 Mexican Pesos to the Malecon or the airport, just take note of rush hours and buses can be crowded. Overall, was a great stay.

Definitely not worth what I paid. Rooms are dated and need repairs. We switched rooms twice. TV from last room we were in was broken, contacted desk personnel and said it’ll be repaired but they failed to do so. We had to call the next day and they finally sent someone to replace broken TV. Food is always the same thing, no variety whatsoever and it doesn’t even taste good. We ended up not eating at the hotel after a couple days since the food was not great.

This is a cute property. My room was clean. The food was great. The chilaquiles station was my favorite. The staff is amazing and probably the best part of staying here.

PRO: The staff was SO friendly and helpful, and so were all the guests! I loved the food (Mexican). I thought it was on the beach and it isn't, but a quick walk. CON: Property is old school. Horrible coffee, but these are the only negatives.

For the most part everything was good with the exception of the food. They need more variety in the menu and more protein.

Pictures were nothing like the actual property. Flase advertisement about the food and restaurants available in the "all inclusive" there is only one restaurant where you can eat if youare traveling with family because although they advertise more than 1, the only other restaurant is for adults only. Food is not all inclusive only a nasty buffet style of almost all american food instead of mexican cuisine and anything else you need to pay for! Will never stay here again! Checked out after the first night even though I had paid for a whole week!!

Great Hotel for a quiet vacation, it has very Authentic Mexican Charm. Clean and well looked after, very nice staff, Eric, Ivan, Fransico to name a few.

This was cute resort perfect for social media, food and drinks 5/10 since it was buffet style only certain food were good and the drinks were from premade mixes. I loved the fresh stations like eggs any style, pancakes or chilaquiles those were the best. Staff were wonderful we asked for extra towels they were at our room in 5-7min. Short walk from beach area where they had another bar and beach chairs for us.

Staff made the stay for sure! Miriam and Jorge especially :) The beachside and poolside bars and snack bars were awesome. Wish there was wifi in all of the rooms, and the buffet could have used more pico de gallo/guacamole and chip appetizer options. Definitely reserve a night at the a la carte restaurant (the black bean cream soup was the best soup I have potentially ever had) at the host station first thing weekday mornings, that was a wonderful dining experience. Good value for your money and would recommend!

First, I can’t express enough how attentive and caring the staff were. The hotel is outdated but very clean and the staff member are the gold of this hotel.(they are truly amazing, BIG THANKS) This is a good place for Solo travelers and for people who just want to relax by the pool, away from a party scene. The hotel is located close to the port so it’s very convenient for boat tours. Not recommended if you are looking for a fancy and new facility or if you want to have a nice beach side hotel experience. The hotel is located about 500m away from the beach. You can walk or take a shuttle bus from the hotel.The staff serve drinks there but not the best beach experience.

Loved the Mexican Charm about the property. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was good. Service was great. Love the smaller size of the report and how easy it is to get around. Would be great if beach was closer, but it is not a far walk. I would definitely stay here again. I have stayed in many five star resorts and the service we received here was far better than any 5 star resort we have styed in. .
