The stay was OK. This is definitely designed as a business hotel with extras. Also there were no local facilities so if you needed anything you had to drive. The fixtures and fittings were reasonable but dated. The view was a brick wall. For a family stay ok but definitely a business hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff greeted us on arrival. The food was fantastic and kids ate free! Breakfast had something for everyone and the swimming pool was a lovely bonus for the kids. Can for a child’s birthday weekend and we loved it. All round very clean and lovely view from room. Will definitely be returning. Thank you

The staff were all so friendly, helpful and attentive. My only complaint would be that you have no fridges in the room for diabetics to keep their insulin in, but we had a work around of ice in a wine cooler!

Super friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel such a safe and comfortable place for me to stay as a single mum with my 8 year old. We were visiting family nearby.
We loved the pool facilities really well organised and fair for guests to get a slot lovely changing facilities and clean towels provded and body wash in the showers which makes it even easier and ate brekafast which was delicious.
The room was really spacious and had everything we needed.
We had an evening meal in the bar there was a lovely atmosphere and service was excellent. Food came out quick and kids eat free which was amazing !!
Cant wait to come back and stay again.

Really comfortable we attended a wedding close by and was a last minute booking which turn out great as other wedding party members were staying at. Bonus points for the swimming pool at the night staff (Alex) who directed me to a 24 hour Morrisons to get supplies for my sisters kids.

The hotel rooms are old and dilapidated with plaster peeling off the walls and old fixtures and fittings. Our room was old and tired and definitely in need of modernisation. The bathroom was slightly better but a sink that leaked water everywhere and our air conditioning unit didn’t work. The beds were not the comfiest but ok and clean.
The breakfast was ok but there were no vegetarian options on display or offered. I did ask if they had vegetarian sausages and they said they could make something but I’d have to wait (I had my breakfast by that time so left it).
My family (not vegetarian) also had to wait for 15 minutes as they had run out of some hot breakfast items on the self serve and had to make more. They didn’t realise until they had run out that they should have started preparing more which was a little disappointing.
The staff that we encountered were friendly and professional however.
I wouldn’t return to this hotel unless there was no where else to stay in the area.

Lovely hotel very suitable for families with access to the swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Beware of the old ladies that stare at you and your children when you enter the pool and then come over and tell your children not to splash them all in the family swim time as well.

3rd time me and my 12 year old daughter have stayed. We love it. So family friendly. Great staff. Pool is great and breakfast delicious. Added bonus of the gate out the back of the hotel, to get straight on to Telford town park.Already planning our next stay.

Convenient to road system but unaffected by traffic noise. Free parking. Reception friendly and efficient. Lifts available.
My room had 2 double beds which made the room seem cramped. The bed I used was comfortable. Ensuite bath with an over shower. I had to fix the shower curtain back on the track to avoid soaking the floor. Food good quality and reasonably priced.

Came as part of the Eastercon contingent. I'm not usually a fan of ground floor hotel rooms but this one was great as was so easy to get to everything. For once remembered my swimming kit and so made sure I got a go in the pool/spa, last-minute as it all was. Overall had a really good time and very much enjoyed the food, and the gin selection!
Had completely forgotten the RAF Museum Cosford was nearby, so I got a bit of a tour and a bit of work done while I was at it. Most importantly, had a nice relaxing few days in a way I hadn't achieved so far this year, so bonus points for that. I shall return because I've a couple of things I didn't quite have time to do whilst here, like the trip to Ironbridge.

The staff as always were amazing, super friendly. The food was amazing, bar was amazing. We stayed here once before too and it was so good we stayed again. We were disappointed this time to have a room which had a bed that was horrendous. It was so uncomfy, it literally felt like an old pull out sofa bed... we were so confused at the difference from our first stay! We also had aircon which was SO loud. The hotel was super warm, so we needed it on all night but he kept making a huge thud everytime it powered down and back on again during the night. It woke us up every time too!

We went to Holiday Inn Ironbridge for our daughters gymmastics competition and arrived very late after being on the road for 7 hours but staff were very welcoming on our arrival and we were in our room very quickly. The family suite was very spacious, clean, warm and very welcoming. Despite sleeping late, and waking up relatively early we felt very refreshed with the comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast next morning was fantastic with a good choice of hot and cold food and drinks and the restaurant decor with a fireplace in the middle made the restaurant feel very upmarket. Again, couldn't fault the serving staff. We will definitely be back there next year when the gymnastic comp comes round again. We will try and go early next time as there was a nice pool, jacuzzi and gym available as well as a bar and lounge area. Thanks for a great stay Holiday Inn Ironbridge!

Allocated room at front of hotel only to be kept awake until 330am by people smoking and drinking. The shower was beyond pathetic in pressure and the bed wasn’t even made well, badly fitting sheets. Coffee machine broken so nothing to ease the La k of sleep and bad shower! Won’t be returning. Only good thing about the hotel was food and staff in the restaurant.

Quite easy to locate and park. Close enough to walk up to the shops and bars. Hotel staff helpful and the room was good, with two large comfortable double beds. Leisure facilities looked good and even had swimming lesson slots. Public areas were good, but one area was under repair after what appeared to be water damage. Nice outside sitting area, surrounded by trees and had a nice water feature trickling away. Breakfast was very nice - nice surroundings, good selection and good quality food.

Rooms were spacious and fully functional. Bed was a little on the hard side for us but not to the point they were uncomfortable. My only negative about the rooms were the doors that slammed closed with a thud and at 2am and 3am in the morning that's quite annoying
Breakfast was plentiful. The quality of the food was good, unfortunately although the plates were hot the food was only luke warm.

The staff was very friendly and SO accommodating with our big dog. We had a wonderful stay, so did our dog, with a very big park just next to the hotel it was brilliant. Definitely recommended.

Air conditioning set to 18 degrees which made the room very uncomfortable on a hot day.
We purposely booked this hotel for the air conditioning as I get very hot & on previous stays it was much cooler, but it appears to be a new system.

Fantastic on every level, best staff of any Holiday Inn. Only thing I could fault the stay on is the size of the TV's in the room, they are absolutely tiny.

I stayed for 3 nights. Staff are always friendly, room was comfortable and the breakfast sets you up for the day.
Only thing I would suggest is the gym opens at 7am. Could do with opening a little earlier so people can get a work out in, their breakfast, and out the door to work.

We had a horrible night sleep due to the air conditioning not working and the family next door having a crying baby. My daughter was competing the next day for the English Gymnastics Championships so it was a really bad start for us. We were so tired the next day.
