For the price I would have expected more. First interaction with front desk staff was ok, as I arrived early and could store my bag for a couple if hours, until checking in.
When I actually checked in, front desk staff was pretty stonefaced, did not get a single smile then or at checkout, nor anything else, did not feel very welcome but checkin and checkout nevertheless went well.
Room was good and ok clean, but feet were absolutely dirty after walking there for a while, so I guess floors haven't been wet cleaned for a while.
Breakfast almost a disaster, dirty glassware, that maybe explains why they also supply plastic cups for one use, plastic cutlery and so on, what happened to the sustainability here?
Some pastries, simple toast bread with butter and jam. Some sausage stew, frijoles and scrambled eggs. And some fruit, that's it. Eggs and frijoles were ok but I expected a LOT more for the price I paid, that was a sad breakfast.

The room was good and comfortable, however, the air conditioner was not working properly. We stayed in room 329 and it took around 8 hours for the room to get a little fresh when we got there the air conditioner thermostat was at 61 F but the air was just verily fresh, my husband called the front desk and they instructed us to rise the temperature at 69 which we did, later on, somebody from maintenance came to our room to check on the a/c and change the temperature to 70 and said that because the room was too big the a/c would take longer to cool down the room and aid that if we lower to much the thermostat the unit could get frozen and the air can not circulate. We did as he said but the room never felt cool enough and we had a hard time to fall sleep at night.
The next day we went out at 11 am and came back at 10 pm and found the a/c turned off, we were very upset because the room was very hot, the outside temperature was around 36 C, and housekeeping turned it off when they cleaned the room. It took again several hours for the room to cool down.
Other than that we liked the hotel.

But in desperate need of staff supervisor, cleaning ladies scream all the time amongst them, regardles of time or presense of guests sleeping, really hated their souls in the morning (lol)

The day we arrived, the connected the refrigerator and it started making loud noises. We called the receptionist and they were very kind. The refrigerator was replaced promptly with a new one. Something we did not report, but could be improved, is that the upper hinge of the bathroom door was loose. It is not the first time we see this in this hotel, but not a big problem.

Staff is very friendly. We had a problem with the A/C in the room and they fixed it right away. They have a breakfast bar which is replenished constantly. Plenty of parking space and has an excellent location.

The overall appearance is great. The first room I was in was outdated. The air conditioner made an extremely loud rattling noise so they immediately switched my rooms which was nice and updated me to one with a fridge and microwave. This room was a little outdated as well but comfortable. The only thing was that the plumbing to the sink was extremely slow and view outside was a wall.

This hotel is awesome. Everything was so nice including the people. The only downside was having a code for each phone/tablet to access the internet. Which in the end was not a problem just inconvenient. I appreciate you guys!

The location is creepy. Felt like an abandoned neighborhood out of a zombie movie. Couldn’t use the swimming pool. Only one family can reserve it at the time. Reserve it when booking and beat everyone else. LOL.
The water of the shower came out yellow and the room smelled like a drain from a dirty street. The WiFi is a password per device. Ensure you ask for a code per devise you bring. They’ll give you a printed paper with a code per device.
The good… the tiny swimming pool is kinda cute and the bed sheets smelled like bleach. Definitely clean sheets.

The hotel staff tries hard to be the best possible, and that is why we gave high marks for service. They are very courteous, from the security staff, to the front desk, to the kitchen people, to the room service. But the local área is kind of dangerous, and the hotel is a bit run down.
