They do not have free breakfast only a small coffee bar with badic black or decalf, 1 type of tea and hot cocoa packets. The fitness room had zero dumbbells only treadmill, elliptical and bikes little room for cardio exercises using body weight.

This property is very worn. Needs updated. Indoor Pool is very large and hot tub. Pool area nice for families. Pub was good and open late. Linens were clean on bed. Room smelled like tobacco.

Toilets are outdated and don’t work. This facility needs to upgrade its bathrooms. The condition of the toilet was deplorable.

This place is gross and 10 years past when it should have been updated. Infested with bedbugs, room 205. Clerk had to clean puke off the hallway. What I love is that when i gave a negative review, I got a formulaic email from the manager saying please stay here again so we can show you our property isnt a complete refuse pile.

I had a room with pool access which was very nice and convenient. The room was good. I feel that for the cost of the rooms that they could upgrade/upsize their tv's. But that was a minor thing. The restaurant was great as well.

Hotell was good. A little outdated and there was only 1 elevator that wasn't close to where our room was located. Clean and good stay, just could use some upgrading. TV was definitely dated and the picture wasn't great but we weren't in our room a lot anyway

The hotel was nice and clean and it was overall a nice looking hotel. We did have a problem with staff though. A what looked to be a maintenance man was harassing us at the pool for over 3 hours. He ended up calling the cops on a different lady and 2 people from our party ended up getting removed from the hotel over nothing. We got a refund and may never go back. Which is sad as it was overall a nice hotel.

Checkin was quick and easy. The room was clean and quiet.
There was also lots of things "under repair"- vending machines, a treadmill, urinals in public bathrooms. The treadmill that was working just turned off after 20 minutes and needed to be reset.

This is an old hotel that has been redone. However, the wallpaper was coming off in the bathroom, the toilet paper roll holder is so far back, I hit my elbow on the toilet tank, There were two doors to our room, one to the exterior and one to the hallway, there was a wind turbulence sound all night, upon arrival, the only "pet" room available was 2 queen beds. The beds pitted in the middle.

We had called 2 days before our stay asking for an early check in. They couldn’t promise us one, understandably so, but they said they’d try. We show up at 12:50pm, had a wedding at 2 to get ready for. Room was still dirty, and we understood. They said they’d call us when it’s ready. Normal check in is at 4pm. We go to the wedding, come back at 3:45, room still dirty. They gave us free drink tickets which was nice, but didn’t call us until 6pm letting us know our room was finally ready, 2 hours after normal check in and had already gone to the reception. We understand staffing might be short (or something of that nature, we were never told why) but we were offered no discount for the fact that we didn’t get to even bring our bags into our room until 11pm after returning from the wedding. Pool was also under construction and we were told other people got a discount for this but we were not offered one. Just frustrating with how much we paid for a 1 night stay. Usually love Holiday Inns, but unfortunately will not be returning to this one.

We were not informed the pool was being renovated and was not offered a discount on our room, no breakfast included with your stay if you wanted breakfast it was extra at $300 a room it should be included.

We chose this hotel as a stopping point on our road trip, and though it was the most expensive, we chose it because it specifically had good ratings, a pool and a hot tub. After checking in, we were informed that the pool had been closed since January and from the looks of it, would be closed for a long while yet. The room had been updated but the carpet was sticky, and the air conditioner was not bringing the temperature down. If we’d had the energy after our day on the road, we would have asked for a refund and gone elsewhere. We did appreciate that the staff was welcoming and helpful.

We enjoyed our time in Spearfish. The hotel was conveniently located near Spearfish Canyon, the Falls, and the downtown area. We did ask for the TV in the living room part of the suite to be fixed. They sent someone; but they were unable to fix it.

Ashton who was running the front was SO nice and helpful. Loved the hotel set up, very much appreciated the trailer parking in the back. Room was a standard nice Holiday Inn room, very clean. Would love to see this place when it has the indoor pool renovated!

This property was very dirty!!! It was an old building and needs major updating for what you pay. Floors were filthy! Also was charged extra to have a pool side room only to find out when arriving the pool is under construction and will be summer of 2023. Very disappointing to kids. They should not be allowed to charge extra in a misleading manner. Should be posted on site that pull is closed for summer.
